[마11:1-30, 우리말성경]
1 예수께서 열두 제자에게 가르치시기를 끝마친 후에 여러 마을에서도 가르치시고 말씀을 전하시기 위해 그곳을 떠나가셨습니다.
2 요한이 감옥에서 그리스도께서 하시는 일에 대해 듣고 자신의 제자들을 보내
3 예수께 물었습니다. "오실 그분이 바로 선생님이십니까, 아니면 저희가 다른 사람을 기다려야 합니까?"
4 예수께서 대답하셨습니다. "돌아가서 너희가 여기서 보고 듣는 것을 요한에게 전하라.
5 보지 못하는 사람들이 보고 다리를 저는 사람들이 걷고 나병 환자들이 깨끗해지며 듣지 못하는 사람들이 듣고 죽은 사람들이 살아나고 가난한 사람들에게 복음이 전파된다고 하라.
6 나로 인해 걸려 넘어지지 않는 사람은 복이 있다."
7 요한의 제자들이 떠나자 예수께서는 사람들에게 요한에 대해 말씀하기 시작하셨습니다. "너희가 무엇을 보려고 광야로 나갔느냐? 바람에 흔들리는 갈대냐?
8 그렇지 않으면 무엇을 보려고 나갔느냐? 좋은 옷을 입은 사람이냐? 아니다. 좋은 옷을 입은 사람은 왕궁에 있다.
9 그러면 무엇을 보려고 나갔느냐? 예언자냐? 그렇다. 내가 너희에게 말한다. 그는 예언자보다 더 위대한 인물이다.
10 이 사람에 대해 성경에 이렇게 기록됐다. '보라. 내가 네 앞에 내 사자를 보낸다. 그가 네 길을 네 앞서 준비할 것이다.'
11 내가 진실로 너희에게 말한다. 지금까지 여인에게서 난 사람 중에 세례자 요한보다 더 큰 사람이 일어난 적은 없다. 그러나 하늘나라에서는 가장 작은 사람이라도 그보다는 크다.
12 세례자 요한 때부터 지금까지 하늘나라는 침략당하고 있으니 침략하는 사람들이 차지하게 될 것이다.
13 모든 예언자들과 율법이 예언한 것은 요한까지다.
14 만약 너희가 이 예언을 받아들이기 원한다면 요한 그 사람이 바로 오기로 되어 있는 엘리야다.
15 귀 있는 사람은 들으라."
16 "이 세대를 무엇에 비유할 수 있을까? 그들은 마치 장터에 앉아 다른 아이들을 향해 이렇게 소리치는 아이들과 같다.
17 '우리가 너희를 위해 피리를 불어도 너희는 춤추지 않았고 우리가 애도하는 노래를 불러도 너희는 슬피 울지 않았다.'
18 요한이 와서 먹지도 마시지도 않을 때는 사람들이 '저 사람이 귀신 들렸다' 하더니
19 인자가 와서 이렇게 먹고 마시니 '여기 먹보에다 술꾼 좀 보라. 게다가 세리와 죄인과도 친구가 아닌가?'하는구나. 그러나 지혜는 그 행한 일로 옳다는 것을 입증하는 법이다."
20 그러고 나서 예수께서는 기적을 가장 많이 보여 주신 도시들을 꾸짖기 시작하셨습니다. 그들이 회개하지 않았기 때문입니다.
21 "고라신아! 네게 화가 있을 것이다. 벳새다야! 네게 화가 있을 것이다. 너희에게 베푼 기적들이 두로와 시돈에서 나타났다면 그들은 벌써 오래전에 베옷을 입고 재를 뒤집어쓰고 앉아 회개했을 것이다.
22 그러나 내가 너희에게 말한다. 심판 날에 두로와 시돈이 너희보다 견디기 더 쉬울 것이다.
23 그리고 너 가버나움아! 네가 하늘에 들려 올라갈 것 같으냐? 아니다. 너는 저 음부에까지 내려갈 것이다! 네게 베푼 기적들이 소돔에서 나타났다면 그 도시가 오늘까지 남아 있었을 것이다.
24 그러나 내가 너희에게 말한다. 심판 날에 소돔 땅이 너희보다 더 견디기 쉬울 것이다."
25 그때 예수께서 말씀하셨습니다. "아버지, 하늘과 땅의 주님, 제가 찬양합니다. 이 모든 것을 지혜롭고 학식 있는 사람들에게는 감추시고 어린아이들에게는 나타내셨습니다.
26 그렇습니다. 아버지, 이것이 바로 아버지의 은혜로우신 뜻입니다."
27 "내 아버지께서 모든 것을 내게 맡기셨습니다. 아버지 외에는 아들을 아는 사람이 없고 아들과 또 아들이 택해 계시해 준 사람들 외에는 아버지가 누구인지 아는 사람이 없습니다."
28 "수고하고 무거운 짐을 진 모든 사람은 다 내게로 오라. 내가 너희를 쉬게 할 것이다.
29 나는 마음이 온유하고 겸손하니 너희는 내 멍에를 메고 내게서 배우라. 그러면 너희 영혼이 쉼을 얻을 것이다.
30 내 멍에는 메기 쉽고 내 짐은 가볍다."

[Matthew 11:1-30, NLT]
1 When Jesus had finished giving these instructions to his twelve disciples, he went out to teach and preach in towns throughout the region.
2 John the Baptist, who was in prison, heard about all the things the Messiah was doing. So he sent his disciples to ask Jesus,
3 "Are you the Messiah we've been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?"
4 Jesus told them, "Go back to John and tell him what you have heard and seen—
5 the blind see, the lame walk, those with leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is being preached to the poor."
6 And he added, "God blesses those who do not fall away because of me."
7 As John's disciples were leaving, Jesus began talking about him to the crowds. "What kind of man did you go into the wilderness to see? Was he a weak reed, swayed by every breath of wind?
8 Or were you expecting to see a man dressed in expensive clothes? No, people with expensive clothes live in palaces.
9 Were you looking for a prophet? Yes, and he is more than a prophet.
10 John is the man to whom the Scriptures refer when they say,'Look, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, and he will prepare your way before you.'
11 "I tell you the truth, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least person in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is!
12 And from the time John the Baptist began preaching until now, the Kingdom of Heaven has been forcefully advancing, and violent people are attacking it.
13 For before John came, all the prophets and the law of Moses looked forward to this present time.
14 And if you are willing to accept what I say, he is Elijah, the one the prophets said would come.
15 Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!
16 "To what can I compare this generation? It is like children playing a game in the public square. They complain to their friends,
17 'We played wedding songs, and you didn't dance, so we played funeral songs, and you didn't mourn.'
18 For John didn't spend his time eating and drinking, and you say, 'He's possessed by a demon.'
19 The Son of Man, on the other hand, feasts and drinks, and you say, 'He's a glutton and a drunkard, and a friend of tax collectors and other sinners!' But wisdom is shown to be right by its results."
20 Then Jesus began to denounce the towns where he had done so many of his miracles, because they hadn't repented of their sins and turned to God.
21 "What sorrow awaits you, Korazin and Bethsaida! For if the miracles I did in you had been done in wicked Tyre and Sidon, their people would have repented of their sins long ago, clothing themselves in burlap and throwing ashes on their heads to show their remorse.
22 I tell you, Tyre and Sidon will be better off on judgment day than you.
23 "And you people of Capernaum, will you be honored in heaven? No, you will go down to the place of the dead. For if the miracles I did for you had been done in wicked Sodom, it would still be here today.
24 I tell you, even Sodom will be better off on judgment day than you."
25 At that time Jesus prayed this prayer: "O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike.
26 Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way!
27 "My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."
28 Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light."





[마12:1-50, 우리말성경]
1 그 무렵 안식일에 예수께서 밀밭 사이로 지나가고 계셨습니다. 예수의 제자들은 배가 고파서 이삭을 따서 먹기 시작했습니다.
2 이것을 본 바리새파 사람들이 예수께 말했습니다. "보시오! 당신 제자들이 안식일에 해서는 안 될 일을 하고 있소."
3 예수께서 대답하셨습니다. "다윗과 그 일행이 굶주렸을 때 다윗이 한 일을 읽어 보지 못했느냐?
4 다윗이 하나님의 집에 들어가 제사장만 먹게 돼 있는 진설병을 스스로 먹고 또 자기 일행에게도 나누어 주지 않았느냐?"
5 "또 제사장들이 안식일에 성전 안에서 안식일을 어겨도 그것이 죄가 되지 않는다는 것을 율법에서 읽어 보지 못했느냐?
6 내가 너희에게 말한다. 성전보다 더 큰 이가 여기 있다.
7 '내가 원하는 것은 제사가 아니라 자비다'라고 하신 말씀의 뜻을 너희가 알았다면 너희가 죄 없는 사람들을 정죄하지 않았을 것이다.
8 인자는 안식일의 주인이다."
9 예수는 그곳을 떠나 유대 사람의 회당으로 들어가셨습니다.
10 그곳에는 한쪽 손이 오그라든 사람이 있었습니다. 그들은 예수를 고소할 구실을 찾으려고 물었습니다. "안식일에 병을 고치는 것이 옳습니까?"
11 예수께서 말씀하셨습니다. "만일 너희 중 누군가 양 한 마리가 있는데 안식일에 그 양이 구덩이에 빠진다면 붙잡아 꺼내 주지 않겠느냐?
12 하물며 사람이 양보다 얼마나 더 귀하냐? 그러니 안식일에 선한 일을 하는 것이 옳다."
13 그러고 나서 예수께서는 그 사람에게 말씀하셨습니다. "네 손을 펴 보아라!" 그러자 그 사람이 손을 쭉 폈고 그 손은 다른 손처럼 회복됐습니다.
14 그러나 바리새파 사람들은 밖으로 나가 어떻게 하면 예수를 죽일까 음모를 꾸몄습니다.
15 그러나 예수께서 이것을 알고 그곳을 떠나셨습니다. 많은 무리가 예수를 따라갔고 예수께서는 그들을 모두 고쳐 주셨습니다.
16 그리고 자신에 대한 소문을 내지 말라고 그들에게 경고하셨습니다.
17 이는 예언자 이사야를 통해 하신 말씀을 이루시기 위한 것이었습니다.
18 "보라. 내가 택한 내 종, 내가 사랑하는 자, 내가 그를 기뻐한다. 내가 내 영을 그에게 주리니 그가 이방에 정의를 선포할 것이다.
19 그는 다투지도 않고 울부짖지도 않을 것이니 아무도 길에서 그의 음성을 듣지 못할 것이다.
20 그는 정의가 승리할 때까지 상한 갈대도 꺾지 않고 꺼져 가는 심지도 끄지 않을 것이다.
21 또 이방이 그 이름에 희망을 걸 것이다."
22 그때 사람들이 귀신이 들려서 눈멀고 말하지 못하는 사람을 예수께 데리고 왔습니다. 그리고 예수께서 이 사람을 고쳐 주시자 그 사람이 말도 하고 볼 수 있게 됐습니다.
23 그러자 모든 사람이 놀라며 말했습니다. "이분이 혹시 그 다윗의 자손이 아닐까?"
24 그러나 이 말을 듣고 바리새파 사람들은 "이 사람이 귀신의 왕 바알세불의 힘을 빌려 귀신을 내쫓는다"라고 말했습니다.
25 예수께서는 그 생각을 아시고 그들에게 말씀하셨습니다. "어떤 나라든지 서로 갈라져 싸우면 망하게 되고 어떤 도시나 가정도 서로 갈라져 싸우면 무너진다.
26 사탄이 사탄을 쫓아내면 사탄이 스스로 갈라져 싸우는 것인데 그렇다면 사탄의 나라가 어떻게 설 수 있겠느냐?
27 내가 바알세불의 힘을 빌려 귀신들을 내쫓는다면 너희 아들들은 누구의 힘을 빌려 귀신들을 쫓아내느냐? 그러므로 그들이야말로 너희 재판관이 될 것이다.
28 그러나 내가 하나님의 영을 힘입어 귀신들을 쫓아낸다면 하나님 나라가 이미 너희에게 온 것이다.
29 사람이 먼저 힘센 사람을 묶어 놓지 않고서 어떻게 그 사람의 집에 들어가 물건을 훔칠 수 있겠느냐? 묶어 놓은 후에야 그 집을 털 수 있을 것이다."
30 "나와 함께하지 않는 사람은 나를 반대하는 사람이고 나와 함께 모으지 않는 사람은 흩어 버리는 사람이다.
31 그러므로 내가 너희에게 말한다. 사람의 모든 죄와 신성 모독하는 말은 용서받겠지만 성령을 모독하는 것은 용서받지 못할 것이다.
32 누구든지 인자를 욕하는 사람은 용서받겠지만 성령을 모독하는 사람은 이 세대와 오는 세대에서도 용서받지 못할 것이다."
33 "나무가 좋으면 그 열매도 좋고 나무가 나쁘면 그 열매도 나쁘다. 나무는 그 열매를 보면 알 수 있다.
34 독사의 자식들아! 너희가 악한데 어떻게 선한 것을 말하겠느냐? 마음에 가득 차 있는 것이 입 밖으로 흘러나오는 법이다.
35 선한 사람은 선한 것을 쌓았다가 선한 것을 내놓고 악한 사람은 악한 것을 쌓았다가 악한 것을 내놓는다.
36 그러나 내가 너희에게 말한다. 심판 날에 사람은 자기가 함부로 내뱉은 모든 말에 대해 해명해야 할 것이다.
37 네가 한 말로 의롭다는 판정을 받기도 하고 네가 한 말로 죄가 있다는 판정을 받기도 할 것이다."
38 그때 바리새파 사람들과 율법학자들이 예수께 말했습니다. "선생님, 우리에게 표적을 보여 주십시오."
39 예수께서 대답하셨습니다. "악하고 음란한 세대가 표적을 구하지만 예언자 요나의 표적밖에는 보여 줄 것이 없다.
40 요나가 3일 밤낮을 큰 물고기 배 속에 있었던 것처럼 인자도 3일 밤낮을 땅속에 있을 것이다.
41 심판 때에 니느웨 사람들이 이 세대와 함께 일어나 그 죄를 심판할 것이다. 그들은 요나의 선포를 듣고 회개했기 때문이다. 그러나 요나보다 더 큰 이가 여기 있다.
42 심판 때에 남쪽 여왕이 이 세대와 함께 일어나 그 죄를 심판할 것이다. 그 여왕은 솔로몬의 지혜를 들으려고 땅끝에서 왔기 때문이다. 그러나 솔로몬보다 더 큰 이가 여기 있다.
43 한 더러운 귀신이 어떤 사람에게서 나와 쉴 곳을 찾으려고 물 없는 곳을 돌아다니다가 끝내 찾지 못했다.
44 그래서 그 더러운 귀신은 '내가 전에 나왔던 집으로 다시 돌아가야겠다'라고 말했다. 그런데 가 보니 그 집은 아직 비어 있는 채로 깨끗이 치워져 있고 말끔히 정돈돼 있었다.
45 그러자 더러운 귀신은 나가서 자기보다 더 사악한 다른 귀신들을 일곱이나 데리고 와 그곳에 들어가 살았다. 그렇게 되면 그 사람의 마지막은 처음보다 훨씬 더 나빠질 것이다. 이 악한 세대에도 이렇게 될 것이다."
46 예수께서 사람들에게 여전히 말씀하고 계실 때 예수의 어머니와 형제들이 예수께 말하려고 밖에 서 있었습니다.
47 어떤 사람이 예수께 말했습니다. "보십시오. 선생님의 어머니와 형제들이 선생님께 드릴 말씀이 있다며 밖에 서 있습니다."
48 예수께서 그에게 대답하셨습니다. "누가 내 어머니이고 내 형제들이냐?"
49 그리고 손을 내밀어 제자들을 가리키며 말씀하셨습니다. "보라. 내 어머니이고 내 형제들이다.
50 누구든지 하늘에 계신 내 아버지의 뜻을 행하는 사람이 내 형제요, 자매요, 어머니다."

[Matthew 12:1-50, NLT]
1 At about that time Jesus was walking through some grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry, so they began breaking off some heads of grain and eating them.
2 But some Pharisees saw them do it and protested, "Look, your disciples are breaking the law by harvesting grain on the Sabbath."
3 Jesus said to them, "Haven't you read in the Scriptures what David did when he and his companions were hungry?
4 He went into the house of God, and he and his companions broke the law by eating the sacred loaves of bread that only the priests are allowed to eat.
5 And haven't you read in the law of Moses that the priests on duty in the Temple may work on the Sabbath?
6 I tell you, there is one here who is even greater than the Temple!
7 But you would not have condemned my innocent disciples if you knew the meaning of this Scripture: 'I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.'
8 For the Son of Man is Lord, even over the Sabbath!"
9 Then Jesus went over to their synagogue,
10 where he noticed a man with a deformed hand. The Pharisees asked Jesus, "Does the law permit a person to work by healing on the Sabbath?" (They were hoping he would say yes, so they could bring charges against him.)
11 And he answered, "If you had a sheep that fell into a well on the Sabbath, wouldn't you work to pull it out? Of course you would.
12 And how much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Yes, the law permits a person to do good on the Sabbath."
13 Then he said to the man, "Hold out your hand." So the man held out his hand, and it was restored, just like the other one!
14 Then the Pharisees called a meeting to plot how to kill Jesus.
15 But Jesus knew what they were planning. So he left that area, and many people followed him. He healed all the sick among them,
16 but he warned them not to reveal who he was.
17 This fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah concerning him:
18 "Look at my Servant, whom I have chosen. He is my Beloved, who pleases me. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.
19 He will not fight or shout or raise his voice in public.
20 He will not crush the weakest reed or put out a flickering candle. Finally he will cause justice to be victorious.
21 And his name will be the hope of all the world."
22 Then a demon-possessed man, who was blind and couldn't speak, was brought to Jesus. He healed the man so that he could both speak and see.
23 The crowd was amazed and asked, "Could it be that Jesus is the Son of David, the Messiah?"
24 But when the Pharisees heard about the miracle, they said, "No wonder he can cast out demons. He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons."
25 Jesus knew their thoughts and replied, "Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A town or family splintered by feuding will fall apart.
26 And if Satan is casting out Satan, he is divided and fighting against himself. His own kingdom will not survive.
27 And if I am empowered by Satan, what about your own exorcists? They cast out demons, too, so they will condemn you for what you have said.
28 But if I am casting out demons by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God has arrived among you.
29 For who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man and plunder his goods? Only someone even stronger—someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house.
30 "Anyone who isn't with me opposes me, and anyone who isn't working with me is actually working against me.
31 "So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven—except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven.
32 Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come.
33 "A tree is identified by its fruit. If a tree is good, its fruit will be good. If a tree is bad, its fruit will be bad.
34 You brood of snakes! How could evil men like you speak what is good and right? For whatever is in your heart determines what you say.
35 A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart.
36 And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak.
37 The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you."
38 One day some teachers of religious law and Pharisees came to Jesus and said, "Teacher, we want you to show us a miraculous sign to prove your authority."
39 But Jesus replied, "Only an evil, adulterous generation would demand a miraculous sign; but the only sign I will give them is the sign of the prophet Jonah.
40 For as Jonah was in the belly of the great fish for three days and three nights, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.
41 "The people of Nineveh will stand up against this generation on judgment day and condemn it, for they repented of their sins at the preaching of Jonah. Now someone greater than Jonah is here—but you refuse to repent.
42 The queen of Sheba will also stand up against this generation on judgment day and condemn it, for she came from a distant land to hear the wisdom of Solomon. Now someone greater than Solomon is here—but you refuse to listen.
43 "When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, seeking rest but finding none.
44 Then it says, 'I will return to the person I came from.' So it returns and finds its former home empty, swept, and in order.
45 Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before. That will be the experience of this evil generation."
46 As Jesus was speaking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, asking to speak to him.
47 Someone told Jesus, "Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, and they want to speak to you."
48 Jesus asked, "Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?"
49 Then he pointed to his disciples and said, "Look, these are my mother and brothers.
50 Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother!"







[마13:1-58, 우리말성경]
1 그날 예수께서 집에서 나와 호숫가에 앉으셨습니다.
2 큰 무리가 주위로 모여들었기 때문에 예수께서는 배에 올라가 앉으셨고 사람들은 모두 호숫가에 서 있었습니다.
3 그러자 예수께서 많은 것을 비유로 말씀하셨습니다. "한 농부가 씨를 심으러 나갔다.
4 그가 씨를 뿌리는데 어떤 씨는 길가에 떨어져 새들이 와서 모두 쪼아 먹었다.
5 또 어떤 씨는 흙이 많지 않은 돌밭에 떨어져 흙이 얕아 싹이 곧 나왔으나
6 해가 뜨자 그 싹은 시들어 버리고 뿌리가 없어서 말라 버렸다.
7 또 다른 씨는 가시덤불에 떨어졌는데 가시덤불이 자라 무성해져 싹이 나는 것을 막아 버렸다.
8 그러나 어떤 씨는 좋은 땅에 떨어져 100배, 60배, 30배 열매 맺었다.
9 귀 있는 사람은 들으라."
10 제자들이 예수께 와서 물었습니다. "왜 사람들에게 비유로 말씀하십니까?"
11 예수께서 대답하셨습니다. "너희에게는 하늘나라의 비밀을 아는 것이 허락됐으나 다른 사람들에게는 그렇지 않다.
12 가진 사람은 더 받아서 더욱 풍성해질 것이고 가지지 못한 사람은 가진 것마저 빼앗길 것이다.
13 내가 비유로 가르치는 이유는 그들이 보아도 보지 못하고 들어도 듣지 못하며 깨닫지 못하기 때문이다.
14 이사야의 예언이 그들에게 이루어지는 것이다. '너희가 듣기는 들어도 깨닫지 못하며 보기는 보아도 깨닫지 못할 것이다.
15 이 백성들의 마음이 굳어져서 귀는 듣지 못하고 눈은 감겨 있다. 이것은 그들로 하여금 눈으로 보지 못하게 하고 귀로 듣지 못하게 하고 마음으로 깨닫지 못하게 하고 돌아서지 못하게 해 내가 그들을 고쳐 주지 않으려는 것이다.'
16 그러나 너희 눈은 볼 수 있으니 복이 있고 너희 귀는 들을 수 있으니 복이 있다.
17 내가 진실로 너희에게 말한다. 많은 예언자들과 의인들이 너희가 보는 것을 보려 했지만 보지 못했고 너희가 듣는 것을 들으려 했지만 듣지 못했다.
18 이제 씨 뿌리는 사람의 비유를 들어 보라.
19 하늘나라에 대한 말씀을 들어도 깨닫지 못하면 악한 자가 와서 그 마음속에 뿌려진 것을 빼앗아 간다. 이것이 바로 길가에 뿌린 씨와 같은 사람이다.
20 돌밭에 떨어진 씨는 말씀을 듣자마자 기쁨으로 받아들이지만
21 뿌리가 없기 때문에 오래가지 못한다. 말씀 때문에 고난이나 핍박이 오면 곧 걸려 넘어진다.
22 또 가시덤불 가운데 떨어진 씨는 말씀은 들었지만 이 세상의 걱정과 돈의 유혹이 말씀을 막아 열매 맺지 못하는 사람이다.
23 그러나 좋은 땅에 떨어진 씨는 말씀을 듣고 깨닫는 사람이다. 이 사람은 열매를 맺어 100배, 60배, 30배 결실을 낸다."
24 예수께서는 또 다른 비유를 들어 말씀하셨습니다. "하늘나라는 어떤 사람이 자기 밭에 좋은 씨를 뿌린 것에 비유할 수 있다.
25 그런데 사람들이 모두 자고 있는 동안 원수가 와서 밀 가운데 가라지를 뿌리고 도망갔다.
26 밀이 줄기가 나서 열매를 맺을 때에 가라지도 보였다.
27 종들이 주인에게 와서 말했다. '주인님께서는 밭에 좋은 씨를 뿌리지 않으셨습니까? 그런데 도대체 저 가라지가 어디에서 생겨났습니까?'
28 그러자 주인이 대답했다. '원수가 한 짓이다.' 종들이 물었다. '저희가 가서 가라지를 뽑아 버릴까요?'
29 주인이 대답했다. '아니다. 가라지를 뽑다가 밀까지 뽑을 수 있으니
30 추수할 때까지 둘 다 함께 자라도록 내버려 두어라. 추수 때에 내가 일꾼들에게, 먼저 가라지를 모아 단으로 묶어 불태워 버리고 밀은 모아 내 곳간에 거두어들이라고 하겠다.'"
31 예수께서 또 다른 비유를 들어 말씀하셨습니다. "하늘나라는 사람이 자기 밭에 가져다가 심어 놓은 겨자씨와 같다.
32 겨자씨는 모든 씨앗들 가운데 가장 작은 씨앗이지만 자라면 모든 풀보다 더 커져서 나무가 된다. 그래서 공중에 나는 새들이 와서 그 가지에 깃들게 된다."
33 예수께서 또 다른 비유를 들어 말씀하셨습니다. "하늘나라는 여인이 가져다가 밀가루 3사톤에 섞어 온통 부풀게 하는 누룩과 같다."
34 예수께서는 사람들에게 이 모든 것을 비유로 말씀하셨습니다. 비유가 아니면 아무 말씀도 하지 않으셨습니다.
35 이는 예언자를 통해 하신 말씀을 이루시려는 것이었습니다. "내가 입을 열어 비유로 말할 것이다. 세상이 창조된 이래로 감추어진 것들을 말할 것이다."
36 그러고 나서 예수께서는 무리를 떠나 집으로 들어가셨습니다. 제자들이 예수께 와서 말했습니다. "밭에 난 가라지 비유를 설명해 주십시오."
37 예수께서 대답하셨습니다. "좋은 씨를 뿌린 사람은 인자다.
38 밭은 세상이고 좋은 씨는 하늘나라의 자녀들을 뜻한다. 가라지는 악한 자의 아들들이고
39 가라지를 뿌린 원수는 마귀다. 추수 때는 세상의 끝이며 추수하는 일꾼은 천사들이다.
40 가라지가 뽑혀 불태워지듯이 세상의 끝에도 그렇게 될 것이다.
41 인자가 자기 천사들을 보내면 천사들은 죄를 짓게 하는 모든 것들과 악을 행하는 모든 사람들을 그 나라에서 가려내
42 활활 타오르는 불 아궁이에 던져 넣을 것이다. 거기서 그들은 슬피 울며 이를 갈 것이다.
43 그때 의인들은 자기 아버지의 나라에서 해같이 빛날 것이다. 귀 있는 사람은 들으라."
44 "하늘나라는 밭에 숨겨진 보물과 같다. 어떤 사람이 그것을 발견하고는 감추어 두고 기뻐하며 돌아가 모든 재산을 팔아서 그 밭을 산다.
45 또 하늘나라는 좋은 진주를 찾아다니는 상인과 같다.
46 그는 값진 진주를 발견하고 돌아가 모든 재산을 팔아서 그것을 산다."
47 "또한 하늘나라는 바다에 던져 온갖 물고기를 잡는 그물과 같다.
48 그물이 가득 차면 어부들은 그물을 물가로 끌어내고는 앉아서 좋은 고기는 바구니에 담고 나쁜 고기는 버린다.
49 세상의 끝도 그렇게 될 것이다. 천사들이 와서 의인 중에서 악인을 가려내
50 활활 타오르는 불 아궁이에 던져 넣을 것이다. 거기서 그들은 슬피 울며 이를 갈 것이다."
51 예수께서 물으셨습니다. "너희가 이 모든 것을 깨달았느냐?" 제자들이 "예" 하고 대답했습니다.
52 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨습니다. "그러므로 하늘나라의 제자가 된 모든 율법학자는 새것과 오래된 것을 자기 창고에서 꺼내 주는 집주인과 같다."
53 예수께서 이런 비유들을 끝마친 후에 그곳을 떠나셔서
54 고향으로 돌아가 유대 사람의 회당에서 사람들을 가르치기 시작하셨습니다. 사람들이 놀라 물었습니다. "이 사람이 어디서 이런 지혜와 기적을 행하는 능력을 얻었는가?
55 이 사람은 한낱 목수의 아들이 아닌가? 어머니는 마리아이고 동생들은 야고보와 요셉과 시몬과 유다가 아닌가?
56 그 누이들도 모두 우리와 함께 있지 않는가? 그런데 이 사람은 도대체 이 모든 것들을 어디서 얻었는가?"
57 그러면서 사람들은 예수를 배척했습니다. 그러자 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨습니다. "예언자는 자기 고향과 자기 집에서는 배척당하는 법이다."
58 예수께서는 그곳에서 기적을 많이 베풀지 않으셨습니다. 사람들이 믿지 않았기 때문입니다.

1 Later that same day Jesus left the house and sat beside the lake.
2 A large crowd soon gathered around him, so he got into a boat. Then he sat there and taught as the people stood on the shore.
3 He told many stories in the form of parables, such as this one:
"Listen! A farmer went out to plant some seeds.
4 As he scattered them across his field, some seeds fell on a footpath, and the birds came and ate them.
5 Other seeds fell on shallow soil with underlying rock. The seeds sprouted quickly because the soil was shallow.
6 But the plants soon wilted under the hot sun, and since they didn't have deep roots, they died.
7 Other seeds fell among thorns that grew up and choked out the tender plants.
8 Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted!
9 Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand."
10 His disciples came and asked him, "Why do you use parables when you talk to the people?"
11 He replied, "You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not.
12 To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.
13 That is why I use these parables,For they look, but they don't really see. They hear, but they don't really listen or understand.
14 This fulfills the prophecy of Isaiah that says,'When you hear what I say, you will not understand. When you see what I do, you will not comprehend.
15 For the hearts of these people are hardened, and their ears cannot hear, and they have closed their eyes— so their eyes cannot see, and their ears cannot hear, and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to me and let me heal them.'
16 "But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear.
17 I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, but they didn't see it. And they longed to hear what you hear, but they didn't hear it.
18 "Now listen to the explanation of the parable about the farmer planting seeds:
19 The seed that fell on the footpath represents those who hear the message about the Kingdom and don't understand it. Then the evil one comes and snatches away the seed that was planted in their hearts.
20 The seed on the rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive it with joy.
21 But since they don't have deep roots, they don't last long. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God's word.
22 The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God's word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced.
23 The seed that fell on good soil represents those who truly hear and understand God's word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!"
24 Here is another story Jesus told: "The Kingdom of Heaven is like a farmer who planted good seed in his field.
25 But that night as the workers slept, his enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat, then slipped away.
26 When the crop began to grow and produce grain, the weeds also grew.
27 "The farmer's workers went to him and said, 'Sir, the field where you planted that good seed is full of weeds! Where did they come from?'
28 "'An enemy has done this!' the farmer exclaimed.
"'Should we pull out the weeds?' they asked.
29 "'No,' he replied, 'you'll uproot the wheat if you do.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest. Then I will tell the harvesters to sort out the weeds, tie them into bundles, and burn them, and to put the wheat in the barn.'"
31 Here is another illustration Jesus used: "The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed planted in a field.
32 It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of garden plants; it grows into a tree, and birds come and make nests in its branches."
33 Jesus also used this illustration: "The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough."
34 Jesus always used stories and illustrations like these when speaking to the crowds. In fact, he never spoke to them without using such parables.
35 This fulfilled what God had spoken through the prophet:"I will speak to you in parables. I will explain things hidden since the creation of the world."
36 Then, leaving the crowds outside, Jesus went into the house. His disciples said, "Please explain to us the story of the weeds in the field."
37 Jesus replied, "The Son of Man is the farmer who plants the good seed.
38 The field is the world, and the good seed represents the people of the Kingdom. The weeds are the people who belong to the evil one.
39 The enemy who planted the weeds among the wheat is the devil. The harvest is the end of the world, and the harvesters are the angels.
40 "Just as the weeds are sorted out and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world.
41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will remove from his Kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil.
42 And the angels will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father's Kingdom. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!
44 "The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field.
45 "Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls.
46 When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it!
47 "Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a fishing net that was thrown into the water and caught fish of every kind.
48 When the net was full, they dragged it up onto the shore, sat down, and sorted the good fish into crates, but threw the bad ones away.
49 That is the way it will be at the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked people from the righteous,
50 throwing the wicked into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
51 Do you understand all these things?"
"Yes," they said, "we do."
52 Then he added, "Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his storeroom new gems of truth as well as old."
53 When Jesus had finished telling these stories and illustrations, he left that part of the country.
54 He returned to Nazareth, his hometown. When he taught there in the synagogue, everyone was amazed and said, "Where does he get this wisdom and the power to do miracles?"
55 Then they scoffed, "He's just the carpenter's son, and we know Mary, his mother, and his brothers—James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas.
56 All his sisters live right here among us. Where did he learn all these things?"
57 And they were deeply offended and refused to believe in him.
Then Jesus told them, "A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his own family."
58 And so he did only a few miracles there because of their unbelief.






한 안식일에 예수님의 제자들이 밀 이삭을 잘라 먹자 이를 바리새인들이 비난합니다. 그들이 배고픔을 해결한 제자들의 행동을 추수 행위로 본 것입니 다. 예수님께서는 그들에게 다윗이 행한 일(삼상 21:1~6)을 들어 제자들의 행동에 문제가 없음을 밝히십니다. 이어서 회당으로 들어가셔서 손 마른 사람을 고쳐주십니다. 바리새인들은 안식일에 사람을 고치신 예수님을 이해하 지 못합니다.
그러나 예수님께서는 ‘안식일의 주인’이십니다. 하나님께서 6일 동안 천지를 창조하시고 안식일을 주신 것은 인생들에게 쉼과 안식을 주시기 위한 하나님의 배려와 사랑입니다. 따라서 굶주린 사람에게 음식을 먹게 하신 것과 아픈 이들을 치료하신 일은 안식일을 어긴 것이 아니라, 도리어 안식일의 의미를 더 확대하여 긍휼과 자비를 베푸신 것입니다. 순종이 제사보다 낫듯이, 예수님께서는 제사보다 자비를 원하십니다. 예수님께는 법보다 생명이 더욱 소중하고 귀한 가치입니다.

예수님께서는 창조 때 시작된 ‘안식일의 주인’이 예수님 자신임을 말씀하십니다.

우리에게 비본질적인 것과 본질적인 것을 명확히 구별할 수 있는 하늘의 지혜와 분별력을 허락해주세요. 언제나 하나님의 마음에 합한 생각과 행동을 하는 사람이 되기를 원합니다.
