[겔36:1-38, 우리말성경]
1 "너 사람아, 이스라엘 산들을 향해 예언해 말하여라. '이스라엘의 산들아, 여호와의 말씀을 들으라.'"
2 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "'아하! 오래전부터 있던 높은 곳이 우리 차지가 됐다'라고 원수가 너희에 대해 말했으니
3 너는 예언해 말하여라. '주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 그들이 너희를 황폐하게 하고 사방에서 너희를 짓밟아서 너희가 다른 민족들의 차지가 되고 사람들의 입에 올라 이야깃거리가 됐으니
4 이스라엘의 산들아, 주 여호와의 말씀을 들으라. 산들과 언덕들과 시내들과 골짜기들과 폐허가 된 황무지들과 너희 주위에 있는 나머지 민족들에게 약탈당하고 조롱거리가 돼 버려진 성읍들에게 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다.
5 내가 불타는 열망으로 다른 민족들과 온 에돔에 대적해 말했다. 온 마음으로 기뻐하며 마음속에 악의를 품고 그들은 내 땅을 차지해 이 땅의 목초지를 약탈했다.'
6 그러므로 너는 이스라엘 땅에 관해 예언하고 산들과 언덕들과 시내들과 골짜기들에게 말하여라. '주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 너희가 민족들에게 수치를 당했기 때문에 나는 분노의 열정으로 말한다.
7 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 내가 내 손을 들고서 맹세했으니 너희 주위의 민족들 또한 반드시 수치를 당할 것이다.
8 그러나 이스라엘의 산들아, 너희가 자신의 가지들을 내고 내 백성 이스라엘에게 너희의 열매들을 생산할 것이다. 그들은 곧 돌아올 것이기 때문이다.
9 내가 너희를 돌볼 것이니 너희는 경작되고 씨가 뿌려질 것이다.
10 내가 너희 위에, 이스라엘 족속 모두 위에, 사람의 수가 많아지게 할 것이다. 성읍들에 사람이 살게 되고 폐허가 된 곳들은 재건될 것이다.
11 내가 너희 위에 사람과 가축의 수를 늘어나게 해 주어 그들이 많아지고 번성할 것이다. 내가 예전처럼 너희 위에 사람이 살게 하고 이전보다 더 좋게 해 줄 것이다. 그러면 내가 여호와임을 너희는 알게 될 것이다.
12 내가 너희 위에 사람들, 곧 내 백성 이스라엘을 다니게 할 것이다. 그들은 너희를 차지할 것이고 너희는 그들의 유산이 될 것이다. 너희가 다시는 그들로 하여금 자식을 잃게 하지 않을 것이다.'
13 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. '너는 사람을 집어삼키고 네 민족으로 하여금 백성을 잃게 한다'라고 그들이 너희에게 말하기 때문에
14 네가 더 이상 사람을 집어삼키지 않고 네 민족이 다시는 백성을 잃지 않을 것이다. 주 여호와의 말이다.
15 나는 네가 더 이상 민족들의 모욕을 듣지 않게 하고 네가 더 이상 다른 백성들의 조롱을 당하지 않게 할 것이다. 네가 더 이상 네 민족을 넘어뜨리게 하지 않을 것이다.'"
16 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임해 말씀하셨다.
17 "사람아, 이스라엘 족속이 그들의 땅에서 살고 있을 때 그들은 그들의 행동과 행위로 그 땅을 더럽혔다. 그들의 행동은 내게는 월경하는 정결하지 못한 여자와 같았다.
18 그들이 그 땅에서 흘린 피 때문에, 그들이 그 땅을 자신들의 우상들로 더럽혔기 때문에 내가 그들에게 진노를 쏟아부은 것이다.
19 내가 그들을 민족들 가운데로 흩어 버렸고 나라들 사이로 퍼지게 했다. 나는 그들의 행동과 행위대로 그들을 심판했다.
20 '이들은 여호와의 백성이지만 그의 땅으로부터 그들이 떠났다'라고 사람들이 그들에 관해 말했다. 그때 그들은 그곳으로 갔던 민족들에게로 친히 와서 스스로 내 거룩한 이름을 모독했다.
21 그러나 그곳으로 갔던 민족들 사이에서 이스라엘 족속이 모독한 내 거룩한 이름으로 인해 나는 자비를 베풀었다.
22 그러므로 너는 이스라엘 족속에게 말하여라. '주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 이스라엘 족속아, 내가 이런 일을 하는 것은 너희를 위해서가 아니라 그곳으로 갔던 민족들 사이에서 너희가 모독한 내 거룩한 이름 때문이다.
23 너희가 그들 가운데 더럽히고 민족들 사이에서 더럽혀진 내 위대한 이름을 내가 거룩하게 할 것이다. 내가 그들이 보는 앞에서 너희를 통해 내 거룩함을 보여 줄 때 내가 여호와임을 그 민족들은 알게 될 것이다. 주 여호와의 말이다.
24 내가 너희를 저 민족들 가운데서 데려오고 모든 나라에서 모아들여 너희의 땅으로 데려갈 것이다.
25 내가 너희 위에 깨끗한 물을 뿌릴 것이니 너희는 깨끗해질 것이다. 내가 너희의 모든 더러움과 너희의 모든 우상들로부터 너희를 깨끗하게 할 것이다.
26 내가 너희에게 새로운 마음을 주고 너희 안에 새로운 영을 줄 것이다. 내가 너희 육신으로부터 돌과 같이 굳은 마음을 없애고 너희에게 살처럼 부드러운 마음을 줄 것이다.
27 그리고 내가 내 성령을 너희 안에 주어서 너희로 하여금 내 법령을 따르며 내 규례를 지키고 행하게 만들 것이다.
28 그리고 너희는 내가 너희 조상들에게 준 그 땅에서 살게 될 것이다. 그러면 너희는 내 백성이 되고 나는 너희의 하나님이 될 것이다.
29 내가 너희를 너희의 모든 더러움에서 구원해 낼 것이다. 내가 곡식을 불러다가 그것을 풍성하게 만들고 너희 위에 기근을 내리지 않을 것이다.
30 내가 나무의 열매와 들판의 수확물을 풍성하게 해 너희가 민족들 가운데서 기근으로 인해 더 이상 수치를 당하지 않게 할 것이다.
31 그러면 너희가 너희 악한 행동과 좋지 못한 행위를 기억할 것이고 너희 보기에 너희의 죄와 혐오스러운 일들로 인해 너희 스스로를 몹시 싫어하게 될 것이다.
32 너희를 위해서 내가 이렇게 하는 것이 아니다. 주 여호와의 말이다. 이것이 너희에게 알려졌으면 한다. 이스라엘의 족속아, 너희 행동에 대해 부끄러워하고 수치를 알라!
33 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 내가 너희의 모든 죄악에서 너희를 깨끗이 씻어 줄 그날에 내가 너희를 여러 성읍에서 살게 할 것이니 폐허가 재건될 것이다.
34 지나다니는 모든 사람들이 보던 황무지로 남아 있는 대신 황무지가 된 땅이 경작될 것이다.
35 그들이 말한다. '황무지였던 이 땅이 에덴동산처럼 됐다. 폐허가 돼서 버려졌고 또 무너뜨려졌던 성읍들이 이제 견고하게 세워지고 사람이 살게 됐다'라고 할 것이다.
36 그러면 나 여호와가 무너뜨려진 것을 재건하고 황무지에 다시 나무를 심었음을 너희 주변에 남아 있는 민족들이 알게 될 것이다. 나 여호와가 말했으니 내가 그렇게 할 것이다.'"
37 "나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. '이스라엘 족속을 위해서 이것을 해 주도록 그들이 다시 한 번 더 간청하게 할 것이다. 내가 백성을 양 떼처럼 많게 할 것이다.
38 명절 기간에 예루살렘 제사에 쓰이는 양 떼처럼 폐허가 된 성읍들이 사람의 무리들로 가득 찰 것이다. 그러면 내가 여호와임을 그들은 알게 될 것이다.'"

[Ezekiel 36:1-38, NLT]
1 "Son of man, prophesy to Israel's mountains. Give them this message: O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD!
2 This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Your enemies have taunted you, saying, 'Aha! Now the ancient heights belong to us!'
3 Therefore, son of man, give the mountains of Israel this message from the Sovereign LORD: Your enemies have attacked you from all directions, making you the property of many nations and the object of much mocking and slander.
4 Therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Sovereign LORD. He speaks to the hills and mountains, ravines and valleys, and to ruined wastes and long-deserted cities that have been destroyed and mocked by the surrounding nations.
5 This is what the Sovereign LORD says: My jealous anger burns against these nations, especially Edom, because they have shown utter contempt for me by gleefully taking my land for themselves as plunder.
6 "Therefore, prophesy to the hills and mountains, the ravines and valleys of Israel. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am furious that you have suffered shame before the surrounding nations.
7 Therefore, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I have taken a solemn oath that those nations will soon have their own shame to endure.
8 "But the mountains of Israel will produce heavy crops of fruit for my people—for they will be coming home again soon!
9 See, I care about you, and I will pay attention to you. Your ground will be plowed and your crops planted.
10 I will greatly increase the population of Israel, and the ruined cities will be rebuilt and filled with people.
11 I will increase not only the people, but also your animals. O mountains of Israel, I will bring people to live on you once again. I will make you even more prosperous than you were before. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
12 I will cause my people to walk on you once again, and you will be their territory. You will never again rob them of their children.
13 "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: The other nations taunt you, saying, 'Israel is a land that devours its own people and robs them of their children!'
14 But you will never again devour your people or rob them of their children, says the Sovereign LORD.
15 I will not let you hear those other nations insult you, and you will no longer be mocked by them. You will not be a land that causes its nation to fall, says the Sovereign LORD."
16 Then this further message came to me from the LORD:
17 "Son of man, when the people of Israel were living in their own land, they defiled it by the evil way they lived. To me their conduct was as unclean as a woman's menstrual cloth.
18 They polluted the land with murder and the worship of idols, so I poured out my fury on them.
19 I scattered them to many lands to punish them for the evil way they had lived.
20 But when they were scattered among the nations, they brought shame on my holy name. For the nations said, 'These are the people of the LORD, but he couldn't keep them safe in his own land!'
21 Then I was concerned for my holy name, on which my people brought shame among the nations.
22 "Therefore, give the people of Israel this message from the Sovereign LORD: I am bringing you back, but not because you deserve it. I am doing it to protect my holy name, on which you brought shame while you were scattered among the nations.
23 I will show how holy my great name is—the name on which you brought shame among the nations. And when I reveal my holiness through you before their very eyes, says the Sovereign LORD, then the nations will know that I am the LORD.
24 For I will gather you up from all the nations and bring you home again to your land.
25 "Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. Your filth will be washed away, and you will no longer worship idols.
26 And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.
27 And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.
28 "And you will live in Israel, the land I gave your ancestors long ago. You will be my people, and I will be your God.
29 I will cleanse you of your filthy behavior. I will give you good crops of grain, and I will send no more famines on the land.
30 I will give you great harvests from your fruit trees and fields, and never again will the surrounding nations be able to scoff at your land for its famines.
31 Then you will remember your past sins and despise yourselves for all the detestable things you did.
32 But remember, says the Sovereign LORD, I am not doing this because you deserve it. O my people of Israel, you should be utterly ashamed of all you have done!
33 "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: When I cleanse you from your sins, I will repopulate your cities, and the ruins will be rebuilt.
34 The fields that used to lie empty and desolate in plain view of everyone will again be farmed.
35 And when I bring you back, people will say, 'This former wasteland is now like the Garden of Eden! The abandoned and ruined cities now have strong walls and are filled with people!'
36 Then the surrounding nations that survive will know that I, the LORD, have rebuilt the ruins and replanted the wasteland. For I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will do what I say.
37 "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am ready to hear Israel's prayers and to increase their numbers like a flock.
38 They will be as numerous as the sacred flocks that fill Jerusalem's streets at the time of her festivals. The ruined cities will be crowded with people once more, and everyone will know that I am the LORD."

1 여호와의 손이 내게 내려와서 여호와의 영으로 나를 이끌어 골짜기 가운데 데려다 놓으셨다. 그곳은 뼈들로 가득했다.
2 그분은 나를 뼈 주위로 지나가게 하셨다. 골짜기 바닥에 뼈가 아주 많았다. 그 뼈들은 매우 말라 있었다.
3 그분께서 내게 물으셨다. "사람아, 이 뼈들이 살아날 수 있겠느냐?" 나는 말했다. "주 여호와여, 주께서 아십니다."
4 그러자 그분께서 내게 말씀하셨다. "이 뼈들에게 예언하여라. 그들에게 말하여라. '마른 뼈들아, 여호와의 말씀을 들으라!
5 이 뼈들에게 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 내가 너희 안에 생기를 들어가게 할 터이니 너희는 살게 될 것이다.
6 내가 너희에게 힘줄을 붙이고 그 위에 살을 붙이고 그 위에 살갗을 덮고는 너희 안에 생기를 불어넣을 것이다. 그러면 너희는 살게 될 것이고 내가 여호와임을 알게 될 것이다.'"
7 그리하여 나는 명령받은 대로 예언했다. 그런데 내가 예언을 하자 덜그럭거리는 소리가 나더니 뼈와 뼈가 맞붙어서 뼈들이 함께 모였다.
8 내가 보니 힘줄과 살이 뼈들 위에 올라왔고 살갗이 그것들을 덮었다. 그러나 그것들 안에 생기는 없었다.
9 그러자 그분께서 내게 말씀하셨다. "사람아, 생기에게 예언하여라. 너는 생기에게 예언해 말하여라. '주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 생기야, 사방에서 나와서 이 살해당한 사람들에게 불어서 그들이 살아나게 하여라.'"
10 그분께서 내게 명령하신 대로 내가 예언했더니 생기가 그들 안에 들어갔다. 그러자 그들이 살아나서 두 발로 일어서서는 엄청나게 큰 군대가 됐다.
11 그러자 그분께서 내게 말씀하셨다. "사람아, 이 뼈들은 모든 이스라엘 족속이다. 그들이 말한다. '우리의 뼈들은 말랐고 우리 소망은 사라졌으며 우리가 스스로를 쓰러뜨렸다.'
12 그러므로 예언하여라. 그들에게 말하여라. '주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 내 백성들아, 내가 너희 무덤을 열어서 무덤에서 올라오게 하고 너희를 이스라엘 땅으로 데려갈 것이다.
13 내 백성들아, 무덤을 열어서 내가 너희를 무덤에서 올라오게 할 때 내가 여호와임을 너희는 알게 될 것이다.
14 내가 너희 안에 내 영을 줄 것이니 너희가 살아날 것이다. 너희를 너희의 땅에서 살게 할 것이다. 그러면 내가 여호와임을 너희는 알게 될 것이다. 내가 말했으니 내가 실천할 것이다. 여호와의 말씀이다.'"
15 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임해 말씀하셨다.
16 "너 사람아, 너는 나무 막대기 하나를 집어서 그 위에 적어라. '유다에게 그리고 그의 동료인 이스라엘 족속에게.' 그리고 다른 나무 막대기를 집어서 그 위에 적어라. '에브라임의 막대기, 곧 요셉에게 그리고 그의 동료인 모든 이스라엘 족속에게.'
17 그리고 그것들을 서로 합쳐서 한 막대기가 되게 하여라. 그것들은 네 손에서 하나가 될 것이다.
18 네 백성의 자손들이 네게 '이것들이 무슨 뜻인지 네가 우리에게 말해 주지 않겠느냐?' 하고 물을 때
19 그들에게 선포하여라. '주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 내가 지금 에브라임의 손에 있는 요셉의 막대기와 그의 동료인 이스라엘 지파를 집어 들어 유다의 막대기에 합쳐 그들을 한 막대기로 만들 것이다. 그것들이 내 손안에서 하나가 될 것이다.'
20 네가 그들 위에 적은 막대기들을 그들이 보는 앞에서 네 손에 쥐고
21 그들에게 선포하여라. '주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 내가 이스라엘 족속을 그들이 들어가 살고 있는 그곳의 민족들 사이에서 데리고 나올 것이다. 내가 그들을 사방에서 불러 모아서 그들의 땅으로 데리고 올 것이다.
22 내가 그들을 그 땅에서, 이스라엘의 산에서 한 민족으로 만들 것이다. 한 왕이 그들 모두를 다스릴 것이다. 그들이 다시는 두 민족으로 되지 않을 것이다. 그들이 다시는 두 왕국으로 갈라지지 않을 것이다.
23 그들의 우상들이나 가증스러운 것들이나 그들의 죄악의 어떤 것으로도 다시는 그들 자신을 더럽히지 않을 것이다. 그들이 행한 자신들의 모든 타락한 행위에서 내가 그들을 구해 내 그들을 깨끗하게 할 것이다. 그러면 그들은 내 백성이 되고 나는 그들의 하나님이 될 것이다.
24 내 종 다윗이 그들의 왕이 될 것이니 그들 모두는 한 목자를 갖게 될 것이다. 그들은 내 규례를 따르고 내 법령을 지키며 실행할 것이다.
25 그들은 내가 내 종 야곱에게 준 땅, 너희 조상들이 살았던 그 땅에서 살게 될 것이다. 그들과 그들의 자손들과 그들의 자손들의 자손들이 그곳에서 영원히 살 것이다. 내 종 다윗은 영원히 그들의 왕이 될 것이다.
26 내가 그들과 평화의 언약을 맺을 것이다. 그것은 그들과의 영원한 언약이 될 것이다. 내가 그들을 세우고 그들의 수를 많게 할 것이다. 내가 내 성소를 영원히 그들 가운데 둘 것이다.
27 내 처소가 그들과 함께 있을 것이다. 나는 그들의 하나님이 되고 그들은 내 백성이 될 것이다.
28 내 성소가 그들 가운데 영원히 있게 될 때 내가 이스라엘을 거룩하게 하는 여호와임을 민족들은 알게 될 것이다.'"

[Ezekiel 37:1-28, NLT]
1 The LORD took hold of me, and I was carried away by the Spirit of the LORD to a valley filled with bones.
2 He led me all around among the bones that covered the valley floor. They were scattered everywhere across the ground and were completely dried out.
3 Then he asked me, "Son of man, can these bones become living people again?"
"O Sovereign LORD," I replied, "you alone know the answer to that."
4 Then he said to me, "Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, 'Dry bones, listen to the word of the LORD!
5 This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again!
6 I will put flesh and muscles on you and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.'"
7 So I spoke this message, just as he told me. Suddenly as I spoke, there was a rattling noise all across the valley. The bones of each body came together and attached themselves as complete skeletons.
8 Then as I watched, muscles and flesh formed over the bones. Then skin formed to cover their bodies, but they still had no breath in them.
9 Then he said to me, "Speak a prophetic message to the winds, son of man. Speak a prophetic message and say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come, O breath, from the four winds! Breathe into these dead bodies so they may live again.'"
10 So I spoke the message as he commanded me, and breath came into their bodies. They all came to life and stood up on their feet—a great army.
11 Then he said to me, "Son of man, these bones represent the people of Israel. They are saying, 'We have become old, dry bones—all hope is gone. Our nation is finished.'
12 Therefore, prophesy to them and say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: O my people, I will open your graves of exile and cause you to rise again. Then I will bring you back to the land of Israel.
13 When this happens, O my people, you will know that I am the LORD.
14 I will put my Spirit in you, and you will live again and return home to your own land. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken, and I have done what I said. Yes, the LORD has spoken!'"
15 Again a message came to me from the LORD:
16 "Son of man, take a piece of wood and carve on it these words: 'This represents Judah and its allied tribes.' Then take another piece and carve these words on it: 'This represents Ephraim and the northern tribes of Israel.'
17 Now hold them together in your hand as if they were one piece of wood.
18 When your people ask you what your actions mean,
19 say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will take Ephraim and the northern tribes and join them to Judah. I will make them one piece of wood in my hand.'
20 "Then hold out the pieces of wood you have inscribed, so the people can see them.
21 And give them this message from the Sovereign LORD: I will gather the people of Israel from among the nations. I will bring them home to their own land from the places where they have been scattered.
22 I will unify them into one nation on the mountains of Israel. One king will rule them all; no longer will they be divided into two nations or into two kingdoms.
23 They will never again pollute themselves with their idols and vile images and rebellion, for I will save them from their sinful apostasy. I will cleanse them. Then they will truly be my people, and I will be their God.
24 "My servant David will be their king, and they will have only one shepherd. They will obey my regulations and be careful to keep my decrees.
25 They will live in the land I gave my servant Jacob, the land where their ancestors lived. They and their children and their grandchildren after them will live there forever, generation after generation. And my servant David will be their prince forever.
26 And I will make a covenant of peace with them, an everlasting covenant. I will give them their land and increase their numbers, and I will put my Temple among them forever.
27 I will make my home among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
28 And when my Temple is among them forever, the nations will know that I am the LORD, who makes Israel holy."







“새 영을 너희 속에 두고 새 마음을 너희에게 주되 너희 육신에서 굳은 마음을 제거하고 부드러운 마음을 줄 것이며”(26절). 하나님께서 에스겔을 통해 회복을 말씀하십니다. 하나님의 긍휼과 사랑으로 이스라엘 백성을 깨끗하게 만들어서 하나님의 백성 삼아주시겠다는 것입니다.
왜 이렇게 하나님께서 사랑을 쏟아부어 주실까요? 이스라엘은 하나님의 도움이 없이는 아무런 능력도 희망도 없는 마른 뼈와 같은 상태이기 때문입니다. 하나님께서는 그들에게 생기를 불어넣어 다시 살리셔서 무덤 문을 열고 나오게 하며 이스라엘 땅으로 들어가게 하실 것이라 약속하십니다. 이를 위해 철저하게 준비하십니다. 화평의 언약을 세워서 영원한 언약이 되게 하시고, 이스라엘을 견고하고 번성하게 하시며, 하나님의 성소를 그 가운데에 세워서 영원히 하나님을 섬기게 하실 것이라고 약속하십니다. 이스라엘의 회복을 약속하시는 하나님의 사랑과 긍휼, 하나님의 철저하고 구체적인 계획을 보며, 회복은 우리의 힘으로 이뤄지는 것이 아님을 깨닫습니다.

하나님께서는 다시 정결하게 될 하나님의 백성 이스라엘의 모습을 기대하십니다.

힘들고 지쳐 아무런 소망 없이 주저앉아 있는 우리에게 찾아오셔서 생기를 불어넣어 회복하게 하시는 하나님. 하나님의 놀라운 사랑으로 오늘도 우리는 일어설 수 있습니다.
