[슥7:1-14, 우리말성경]
1 다리오 왕이 다스린 지 4년 아홉째 달 곧 기슬래 월 4일에 여호와께서 스가랴에게 말씀하셨습니다.
2 벧엘 사람들이 사레셀과 레겜멜렉과 그 종들을 보내 여호와께 은혜를 구했다.
3 만군의 여호와의 성전에 있는 제사장들과 예언자들에게 물었다. "우리가 여러 해 동안 늘 하던 대로 다섯째 달에 울며 금식해야 합니까?"
4 만군의 여호와께서 내게 말씀하셨다.
5 "이 땅의 모든 백성과 제사장들에게 말하여라. '너희가 지난 70년 동안 다섯째 달과 일곱째 달에 금식하고 슬피 울었는데 너희가 진심으로 나를 위해서 금식한 적이 있느냐?
6 너희가 먹고 마실 때 그저 너희 자신을 위해 먹고 마시지 않았느냐?
7 너희가 이전부터 예언자들이 외친 여호와의 말씀을 들었어야 하는 것이 아니냐? 그때에는 예루살렘과 그 주변 성읍에 사람이 잘살았고 또 남쪽 지방과 서쪽 평원에도 사람이 살았었다.'"
8 여호와께서 스가랴에게 말씀하셨다.
9 "만군의 여호와가 이미 이렇게 말했다. '공정한 재판을 하라. 서로 사랑과 자비를 베풀라.
10 과부와 고아와 나그네와 가난한 사람을 억누르지 말라. 너희가 서로 해치려는 악한 마음을 먹지 말라.'"
11 그러나 그들은 듣고 순종하지 않았으며 등을 돌리고 듣기 싫어 귀를 막았다.
12 여호와께서 이전의 예언자들에게 그분의 영을 부어 주셔서 율법과 말씀으로 가르치게 하셨다. 그러나 그들은 귀 기울이지 않으려고 마음을 돌같이 굳게 했다. 그래서 만군의 여호와께서 크게 화를 내셨다.
13 만군의 여호와께서 말씀하셨다. "내가 불렀을 때 그들이 듣지 않았으므로 나도 그들이 부를 때 듣지 않겠다.
14 내가 회오리바람을 일으켜 그들을 그들이 알지 못하는 나라들 가운데로 흩어 버리겠다. 그들이 흩어진 뒤 그 땅은 황폐해져서 아무도 다닐 수 없게 될 것이다. 그들이 아름다운 땅을 황폐하게 만들었다."

[Zechariah 7:1-14, NLT]
1 On December 7 of the fourth year of King Darius's reign, another message came to Zechariah from the LORD.
2 The people of Bethel had sent Sharezer and Regemmelech, along with their attendants, to seek the LORD's favor.
3 They were to ask this question of the prophets and the priests at the Temple of the LORD of Heaven's Armies: "Should we continue to mourn and fast each summer on the anniversary of the Temple's destruction, as we have done for so many years?"
4 The LORD of Heaven's Armies sent me this message in reply:
5 "Say to all your people and your priests, 'During these seventy years of exile, when you fasted and mourned in the summer and in early autumn, was it really for me that you were fasting?
6 And even now in your holy festivals, aren't you eating and drinking just to please yourselves?
7 Isn't this the same message the LORD proclaimed through the prophets in years past when Jerusalem and the towns of Judah were bustling with people, and the Negev and the foothills of Judah were well populated?'"
8 Then this message came to Zechariah from the LORD:
9 "This is what the LORD of Heaven's Armies says: Judge fairly, and show mercy and kindness to one another.
10 Do not oppress widows, orphans, foreigners, and the poor. And do not scheme against each other.
11 "Your ancestors refused to listen to this message. They stubbornly turned away and put their fingers in their ears to keep from hearing.
12 They made their hearts as hard as stone, so they could not hear the instructions or the messages that the LORD of Heaven's Armies had sent them by his Spirit through the earlier prophets. That is why the LORD of Heaven's Armies was so angry with them.
13 "Since they refused to listen when I called to them, I would not listen when they called to me, says the LORD of Heaven's Armies.
14 As with a whirlwind, I scattered them among the distant nations, where they lived as strangers. Their land became so desolate that no one even traveled through it. They turned their pleasant land into a desert."

1 만군의 여호와께서 말씀하셨다.
2 "만군의 여호와가 말한다. 내가 시온을 매우 사랑한다. 시온을 치는 사람에게 불같이 화를 낼 만큼 매우 사랑한다."
3 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "내가 시온으로 돌아왔으니 예루살렘에서 살겠다. 그러면 예루살렘은 진리의 성읍이라 불릴 것이요, 만군의 여호와의 산은 거룩한 산이라 불릴 것이다."
4 만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "예루살렘 길거리에 다시 나이 든 어르신들이 손에 지팡이를 짚고 다닐 것이요,
5 성읍의 길거리에 어린 남자 아이들과 여자 아이들이 가득히 뛰놀 것이다."
6 만군의 여호와께서 말씀하셨다. "그날에 이 일이 이 백성들 가운데 남은 사람의 눈에는 신기할 뿐이겠지만 그렇다고 내 눈에도 신기한 일이겠느냐?" 만군의 여호와께서 하신 말씀이다.
7 만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "내가 동쪽 지방으로부터 그리고 서쪽 지방으로부터 내 백성들을 구원하겠다.
8 그들을 데려와 예루살렘에서 살도록 할 것이다. 그들은 내 백성이 되고 나는 그들에게 성실하고 의로운 하나님이 될 것이다."
9 만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "만군의 여호와의 성전의 기초를 놓는 날 그곳에 있던 예언자들의 입으로 내가 말했다. 이날 이 말씀을 듣는 너희는 성전이 지어지기까지 힘을 내서 손을 강하게 하라.
10 그날 이전에는 사람이나 짐승이나 품삯을 받지 못했다. 적들 때문에 아무도 자유롭게 드나들지 못했다. 내가 모든 사람들로 서로 싸우게 했기 때문이다.
11 그러나 이제 내가 이 백성 가운데 남은 사람들에게 예전처럼 하지 않을 것이다. 나 만군의 여호와의 말이다.
12 하늘이 이슬을 내려서 씨앗은 잘 자라고 포도나무가 열매를 맺으며 땅이 곡식을 낼 것이다. 곧 평안하게 추수를 할 것이다. 내가 이 백성 가운데 남은 사람들에게 이 모든 것을 갖게 하겠다.
13 유다 백성들아, 이스라엘 백성들아, 다른 민족들이 너희를 저주했다. 그러나 이제 내가 너희를 구원할 것이요, 너희는 복을 받을 것이다. 두려워하지 말라. 힘을 내서 손을 강하게 하라."
14 만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "너희 조상들이 내 화를 돋우었을 때 내가 너희에게 재난을 내리기로 마음먹고 너희를 불쌍히 여기지 않았다." 만군의 여호와께서 말씀하셨다.
15 "그러나 이제 내가 마음을 돌려 예루살렘과 유다 백성들에게 은혜를 베풀기로 했으니 두려워하지 말라.
16 너희는 이렇게 해야 한다. 너희는 서로 진실을 말하고 너희 성문 재판 자리에서 참되고 정직한 재판을 베풀라.
17 너희는 서로 악한 일을 하려고 생각하지 말고 거짓 맹세하기를 좋아하지 말라. 이런 모든 것은 내가 미워하는 것이다. 나 여호와의 말이다."
18 만군의 여호와께서 내게 말씀하셨다.
19 "만군의 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 넷째 달과 다섯째 달과 일곱째 달과 열째 달에 하는 금식의 날이 유다 백성들에게 기쁘고 즐겁고 유쾌한 명절이 될 것이다. 그러니 너희는 진실하고 평화를 사랑하라."
20 만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "그 후에 많은 백성들과 여러 성읍에 사는 사람들이 몰려올 것이다.
21 이 성읍의 사람들이 저 성읍으로 가서 말할 것이다. '우리가 빨리 가서 만군의 여호와를 찾고 여호와께 가서 기도하자' 하면 서로 '나도 가자'라고 할 것이다.
22 많은 백성들과 강한 나라들이 만군의 여호와를 찾고 여호와께 기도하러 예루살렘으로 올 것이다."
23 만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "그날이 이르면 다른 언어를 가진 다른 민족 열 명이 와서 한 명의 유다 사람의 옷자락을 꽉 붙잡고 말할 것이다. '하나님이 너희들과 함께하신다는 말을 우리가 들었으니 우리가 너희들과 함께 가겠다.'"

[Zechariah 8:1-23, NLT]
1 Then another message came to me from the LORD of Heaven's Armies:
2 "This is what the LORD of Heaven's Armies says: My love for Mount Zion is passionate and strong; I am consumed with passion for Jerusalem!
3 "And now the LORD says: I am returning to Mount Zion, and I will live in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the Faithful City; the mountain of the LORD of Heaven's Armies will be called the Holy Mountain.
4 "This is what the LORD of Heaven's Armies says: Once again old men and women will walk Jerusalem's streets with their canes and will sit together in the city squares.
5 And the streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls at play.
6 "This is what the LORD of Heaven's Armies says: All this may seem impossible to you now, a small remnant of God's people. But is it impossible for me? says the LORD of Heaven's Armies.
7 "This is what the LORD of Heaven's Armies says: You can be sure that I will rescue my people from the east and from the west.
8 I will bring them home again to live safely in Jerusalem. They will be my people, and I will be faithful and just toward them as their God.
9 "This is what the LORD of Heaven's Armies says: Be strong and finish the task! Ever since the laying of the foundation of the Temple of the LORD of Heaven's Armies, you have heard what the prophets have been saying about completing the building.
10 Before the work on the Temple began, there were no jobs and no money to hire people or animals. No traveler was safe from the enemy, for there were enemies on all sides. I had turned everyone against each other.
11 "But now I will not treat the remnant of my people as I treated them before, says the LORD of Heaven's Armies.
12 For I am planting seeds of peace and prosperity among you. The grapevines will be heavy with fruit. The earth will produce its crops, and the heavens will release the dew. Once more I will cause the remnant in Judah and Israel to inherit these blessings.
13 Among the other nations, Judah and Israel became symbols of a cursed nation. But no longer! Now I will rescue you and make you both a symbol and a source of blessing. So don't be afraid. Be strong, and get on with rebuilding the Temple!
14 "For this is what the LORD of Heaven's Armies says: I was determined to punish you when your ancestors angered me, and I did not change my mind, says the LORD of Heaven's Armies.
15 But now I am determined to bless Jerusalem and the people of Judah. So don't be afraid.
16 But this is what you must do: Tell the truth to each other. Render verdicts in your courts that are just and that lead to peace.
17 Don't scheme against each other. Stop your love of telling lies that you swear are the truth. I hate all these things, says the LORD."
18 Here is another message that came to me from the LORD of Heaven's Armies.
19 "This is what the LORD of Heaven's Armies says: The traditional fasts and times of mourning you have kept in early summer, midsummer, autumn, and winter are now ended. They will become festivals of joy and celebration for the people of Judah. So love truth and peace.
20 "This is what the LORD of Heaven's Armies says: People from nations and cities around the world will travel to Jerusalem.
21 The people of one city will say to the people of another, 'Come with us to Jerusalem to ask the LORD to bless us. Let's worship the LORD of Heaven's Armies. I'm determined to go.'
22 Many peoples and powerful nations will come to Jerusalem to seek the LORD of Heaven's Armies and to ask for his blessing.
23 "This is what the LORD of Heaven's Armies says: In those days ten men from different nations and languages of the world will clutch at the sleeve of one Jew. And they will say, 'Please let us walk with you, for we have heard that God is with you.'"




[슥9:1-17, 우리말성경]
1 여호와께서 하신 경고의 말씀이다. 이 말씀이 하드락 땅과 다메섹에 내렸다. 세상 사람의 눈과 이스라엘 모든 지파의 눈이 여호와를 우러러보았다.
2 하드락 땅 가까이 있는 하맛에도 경고하며 지혜롭다고 하는 두로와 시돈에도 경고의 말씀이 내릴 것이다.
3 두로는 자기들을 위해서 요새를 짓고 은을 티끌처럼 쌓고 순금을 거리의 진흙처럼 쌓아 두었다.
4 주께서 그가 가진 것을 빼앗고 쫓아내시며 바다에서 떨치던 그의 힘을 무너뜨리시고 그를 불로 삼키실 것이다.
5 아스글론이 그것을 보며 두려워할 것이고 가사도 몹시 무서워할 것이며 에그론도 바라던 것을 잃고 무서워할 것이다. 가사에서 왕이 끊길 것이요, 아스글론에는 사람이 살지 않을 것이다.
6 아스돗에 혼혈인들이 살 것이며 내가 블레셋 사람들의 교만을 꺾을 것이다.
7 내가 블레셋의 입에서 피를 없애고 그의 이빨 사이에 낀 역겨운 것을 없앨 것이다. 그들의 남은 사람은 우리 하나님께 돌아와 유다의 한 지도자처럼 되고 에그론은 여부스 사람처럼 하나님의 백성이 될 것이다.
8 적이 오지 못하도록 막기 위해 내가 내 집을 둘러 진을 칠 것이다. 내가 내 눈으로 똑똑히 지키고 있으니 억압하는 사람이 다시는 그곳으로 침입하지 못할 것이다.
9 시온의 딸아, 마음껏 기뻐하여라! 예루살렘의 딸아, 소리쳐라! 보아라. 네 왕이 네게로 오신다. 그는 의로우시며 구원을 베푸시는 분이다. 그는 겸손하셔서 나귀를 타시니 새끼 나귀를 타고 오신다.
10 내가 에브라임에 있는 전차를 없애고 예루살렘에 있는 말을 없애고 전쟁용 활도 부러뜨릴 것이다. 그가 다른 민족들에게 평화를 말하고 그가 바다에서 바다까지 다스리며 유프라테스 강에서 땅끝까지 다스릴 것이다.
11 너로 말하자면, 내가 너와 피로 언약을 맺었으므로 내가 너희 가운데 사로잡힌 사람들을 물 없는 구덩이에서 풀어 줄 것이다.
12 사로잡혔으나 희망을 잃지 않은 사람들아, 너희는 요새로 돌아갈 것이다. 오늘 너희에게 말한다. 내가 네게 두 배로 돌려줄 것이라고.
13 내가 유다를 활처럼 당기고 에브라임을 화살로 삼았다. 시온아, 내가 네 아들들을 일으켜 그리스 아들들을 치게 하고 내가 너를 용사의 칼처럼 쓸 것이다.
14 그때 여호와께서 그분의 백성들에게 나타나셔서 화살을 번개처럼 쏘실 것이다. 만군의 여호와께서 나팔을 부시며 남쪽에서 부는 회오리바람처럼 앞으로 나가실 것이다.
15 만군의 여호와께서 그들을 보호하시니 그들이 원수를 쳐부수고 무릿매 돌을 던지는 사람을 밟아 이길 것이다. 그들이 술을 마신 듯이 적의 피에 취해 즐거이 부른다. 그들은 피로 가득 찬 그릇 같고 피에 젖은 제단 모서리 같을 것이다.
16 그날에 그들의 하나님 여호와께서 그들을 그분의 백성의 양 떼처럼 구원하실 것이다. 그들은 여호와의 땅에서 왕관에 달린 보석처럼 빛날 것이다.
17 그들이 얼마나 잘살고 얼마나 아름다운지 청년들은 곡식으로 굳세어지고 처녀들은 새 포도주로 아름다워질 것이다.

[Zechariah 9:1-17, NLT]
1 This is the message from the LORD against the land of Aram and the city of Damascus, for the eyes of humanity, including all the tribes of Israel, are on the LORD.
2 Doom is certain for Hamath, near Damascus, and for the cities of Tyre and Sidon, though they are so clever.
3 Tyre has built a strong fortress and has made silver and gold as plentiful as dust in the streets!
4 But now the Lord will strip away Tyre's possessions and hurl its fortifications into the sea, and it will be burned to the ground.
5 The city of Ashkelon will see Tyre fall and will be filled with fear. Gaza will shake with terror, as will Ekron, for their hopes will be dashed. Gaza's king will be killed, and Ashkelon will be deserted.
6 Foreigners will occupy the city of Ashdod. I will destroy the pride of the Philistines.
7 I will grab the bloody meat from their mouths and snatch the detestable sacrifices from their teeth. Then the surviving Philistines will worship our God and become like a clan in Judah. The Philistines of Ekron will join my people, as the ancient Jebusites once did.
8 I will guard my Temple and protect it from invading armies. I am watching closely to ensure that no more foreign oppressors overrun my people's land.
9 Rejoice, O people of Zion! Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem! Look, your king is coming to you. He is righteous and victorious, yet he is humble, riding on a donkey— riding on a donkey's colt.
10 I will remove the battle chariots from Israel and the warhorses from Jerusalem. I will destroy all the weapons used in battle, and your king will bring peace to the nations. His realm will stretch from sea to sea and from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth.
11 Because of the covenant I made with you, sealed with blood, I will free your prisoners from death in a waterless dungeon.
12 Come back to the place of safety, all you prisoners who still have hope! I promise this very day that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles.
13 Judah is my bow, and Israel is my arrow. Jerusalem is my sword, and like a warrior, I will brandish it against the Greeks.
14 The LORD will appear above his people; his arrows will fly like lightning! The Sovereign LORD will sound the ram's horn and attack like a whirlwind from the southern desert.
15 The LORD of Heaven's Armies will protect his people, and they will defeat their enemies by hurling great stones. They will shout in battle as though drunk with wine. They will be filled with blood like a bowl, drenched with blood like the corners of the altar.
16 On that day the LORD their God will rescue his people, just as a shepherd rescues his sheep. They will sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown.
17 How wonderful and beautiful they will be! The young men will thrive on abundant grain, and the young women will flourish on new wine.




[슥10:1-12, 우리말성경]
1 봄비 내리는 철에 비를 오게 해 달라고 여호와께 구하라. 여호와께서 먹구름을 만들고 그들에게 소나기를 내려 주셔서 밭의 채소를 사람들에게 주실 것이다.
2 우상들은 헛소리를 하고 점쟁이들은 거짓 환상을 보고 헛된 꿈을 말하므로 그들의 위로는 헛되다. 백성은 목자 없는 양같이 길을 잃고 헤매며 고통당한다.
3 "내가 목자들을 향해 화를 내며 내가 숫염소 같은 지도자들을 벌할 것이다. 만군의 여호와가 양 무리인 유다 백성을 보살펴서 그들을 전쟁에 나갈 날쌘 말처럼 만들 것이다.
4 그들에게서 모퉁잇돌 같은 사람이 나오며 그들에게서 천막의 말뚝 같은 사람이 나오며 그들에게서 싸울 때의 활 같은 사람이 나오며 그들에게서 다스리는 모든 사람이 나올 것이다.
5 그들은 싸울 때 용사 같아서 질퍽한 거리에서 적을 짓밟을 것이다. 여호와가 그들과 함께하므로 그들이 싸워 기마병들을 물리칠 것이다.
6 내가 유다 백성을 강하게 하고 요셉 백성을 구할 것이다. 내가 그들을 불쌍히 여기므로 그들을 돌아오게 할 것이다. 그들은 내게 한 번도 버림받지 않은 것처럼 될 것이다. 나는 그들의 하나님 여호와다. 내가 그들의 말을 들을 것이다.
7 에브라임 사람들은 용사같이 되며 그들의 마음이 포도주를 마신 듯 기쁠 것이다. 그들의 자녀가 그것을 보고 기뻐하고 그들의 마음이 여호와로 인해 즐거워할 것이다.
8 내가 그들에게 휘파람 불어 신호를 보내서 그들을 모을 것이다. 내가 그들을 구원했으니 그들이 이전처럼 수가 많아질 것이다.
9 내가 그들을 여러 민족들 가운데 심을 것이고 그들은 먼 곳에서도 나를 기억할 것이다. 그들이 그 자녀들과 함께 다 살아서 돌아올 것이다.
10 내가 그들을 이집트에서 돌아오게 하고 그들을 앗시리아에서 모아서 길르앗과 레바논으로 데려올 것이니 그들이 살 땅이 부족할 지경이다.
11 그들이 고통의 바다를 지나고 넘실거리는 바다 물결을 이길 것이다. 나일 강이 다 말라 바닥을 드러내고 앗시리아의 교만이 꺾이고 이집트를 다스리는 힘이 사라질 것이다.
12 그들이 여호와를 의지함으로 내가 그들을 강하게 할 것이고 그들은 여호와의 이름을 받들면서 살 것이다. 나 여호와의 말이다."

[Zechariah 10:1-12, NLT]
1 Ask the LORD for rain in the spring, for he makes the storm clouds. And he will send showers of rain so every field becomes a lush pasture.
2 Household gods give worthless advice, fortune-tellers predict only lies, and interpreters of dreams pronounce falsehoods that give no comfort. So my people are wandering like lost sheep; they are attacked because they have no shepherd.
3 "My anger burns against your shepherds, and I will punish these leaders. For the LORD of Heaven's Armies has arrived to look after Judah, his flock. He will make them strong and glorious, like a proud warhorse in battle.
4 From Judah will come the cornerstone, the tent peg, the bow for battle, and all the rulers.
5 They will be like mighty warriors in battle, trampling their enemies in the mud under their feet. Since the LORD is with them as they fight, they will overthrow even the enemy's horsemen.
6 "I will strengthen Judah and save Israel; I will restore them because of my compassion. It will be as though I had never rejected them, for I am the LORD their God, who will hear their cries.
7 The people of Israel will become like mighty warriors, and their hearts will be made happy as if by wine. Their children, too, will see it and be glad; their hearts will rejoice in the LORD.
8 When I whistle to them, they will come running, for I have redeemed them. From the few who are left, they will grow as numerous as they were before.
9 Though I have scattered them like seeds among the nations, they will still remember me in distant lands. They and their children will survive and return again to Israel.
10 I will bring them back from Egypt and gather them from Assyria. I will resettle them in Gilead and Lebanon until there is no more room for them all.
11 They will pass safely through the sea of distress, for the waves of the sea will be held back, and the waters of the Nile will dry up. The pride of Assyria will be crushed, and the rule of Egypt will end.
12 By my power I will make my people strong, and by my authority they will go wherever they wish. I, the LORD, have spoken!"









페르시아에서 돌아왔지만 성전 재건이 중단되는 등 여전한 어려움을 겪고 있던 귀환 공동체에게 ‘하나님을 의지하면 다시 잘 헤쳐 나갈 수 있겠구나.’ 하고 깨달을 수 있도록 하나님께서 힘과 격려의 말씀을 주십니다. 특히 봄비를 구하라고 하십니다. 이스라엘에서 봄비는 늦은 비로 결실의 시기에 내 리는 비입니다. 그러므로 봄비가 오는 때에 하나님께 비를 구하라는 말씀은 ‘하나님의 은혜를 구하라’는 의미입니다. 하나님께 은혜를 구하면, 소낙비와 같이 넘치는 은총을 베풀어주실 것이라고 스가랴 선지자가 선언합니다.
그러나 만일 은혜를 구해야 할 때 구하지 못해 은혜를 받지 못하면, 어려움을 당할 것이라고 합니다. 하나님께서는 지난날의 어리석음을 반복하지 않도록 오직 하나님을 의지하고 섬기라고 말씀하십니다. 그러면 그들을 견고하게 하시고 구원해 주실 것을 약속해 주십니다. 오늘도 하나님께서 보내시는 은혜의 단비가 우리 삶에 골고루 내려서 우리의 마음과 생각, 그리고 삶이 부요하게 되기를 기도합니다.

하나님께서 스가랴 선지자를 통해 메시아 나라의 주체가 될 이스라엘 민족을 견고하게 할 것이라고 말씀하십니다.

오늘도 하나님께서 내려주시는 이른 비와 늦은 비를 사모하게 해주세요. 우리의 인생에 풍성한 열매를 주시는 하나님의 은혜를 경험하며, 감사와 영광을 올려드리게 해주세요.
