[겔21:1-32, 우리말성경]
1 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임해 말씀하셨다.
2 "사람아, 예루살렘을 향해 네 얼굴을 돌려라. 성소를 향해 선포하여라. 이스라엘 땅을 향해 예언하여라.
3 너는 이스라엘 땅에 말하여라. '주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 내가 너를 대적한다. 내가 칼집에서 칼을 뽑아 네게서 의인과 악인을 처단할 것이다.
4 내가 네게서 의인과 악인을 처단할 것이기 때문에 내 칼이 칼집에서 나와 남쪽에서부터 북쪽까지 모든 사람을 칠 것이다.
5 그러면 나 여호와가 칼을 칼집에서 뽑은 것을 모든 사람들이 알게 될 것이다. 그 칼이 다시 칼집으로 돌아가지 않을 것이다.'
6 그러므로 너 사람아, 탄식하여라. 너는 그들이 보는 앞에서 허리가 끊어지듯 쓰라림으로 탄식하여라.
7 그리고 '왜 네가 탄식하느냐?'고 그들이 네게 물으면 너는 대답하여라. '소식 때문이다. 그 소식이 이르면 모든 사람의 마음이 녹고 모든 사람의 손에 힘이 빠질 것이다. 모든 사람의 영이 기력을 잃고 모든 사람의 무릎이 떨릴 것이다.' 그 일이 다가오고 있다! 그 일은 반드시 일어날 것이다. 주 여호와의 말이다."
8 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임해 말씀하셨다.
9 "사람아, 예언하며 말하여라. '여호와가 말한다. 칼아, 칼아, 날이 서고 광이 난다!
10 학살을 위해 날이 세워졌고 번개처럼 번쩍이게 하려고 광이 내졌다! 그러니 우리가 내 아들의 규를 즐거워하겠느냐? 그 칼이 모든 나무를 멸시하고 있다.
11 칼이 손에 쥐어지려고 광이 내졌다. 칼날이 세워지고 광이 내져서 학살하는 사람의 손에 넘겨졌다'고 전하여라.
12 '사람아, 소리 지르며 울부짖어라. 그 칼이 내 백성들을 대적하고 모든 이스라엘의 지도자들을 대적하고 있기 때문이다. 내 백성들과 함께 그들이 칼에 던져질 것이다. 그러므로 너는 네 허벅지를 쳐라.
13 시험이 꼭 올 것이다. 그러니 칼이 규를 멸시하면 어떻게 되겠느냐? 규가 없어질 것이다. 주 여호와의 말이다.'
14 그러니 너 사람아, 예언을 하고 손뼉을 쳐라. 칼로 두 번 내려치고 세 번 내려쳐라. 이것은 학살하는 칼이니 사방에서 그들을 에워싸는 대학살의 칼이다.
15 그래서 마음이 녹고 걸려 넘어지는 사람들이 많을 것이다. 내가 학살의 칼을 그들의 모든 문에 두었다. 아! 그 칼이 번쩍거리게 만들어지고 학살을 위해 광이 내졌다.
16 날을 세워라! 오른쪽으로! 왼쪽으로! 날이 향한 대로 가거라!
17 나도 손뼉을 칠 것이다. 그러면 내 분노가 수그러들 것이다. 나 여호와가 말했다."
18 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임해 말씀하셨다.
19 "너 사람아, 바벨론 왕의 칼이 가야 할 두 길을 표시하여라. 둘 다 같은 땅에서 나와야 한다. 표지판을 만들어라. 성읍으로 가는 길 어귀에 만들어라.
20 칼이 갈 길 하나는 암몬 족속의 랍바 쪽으로, 다른 하나는 유다와 견고한 성읍 예루살렘 쪽으로 표시해 두어라.
21 바벨론 왕이 점을 치기 위해 두 길의 어귀에 서서 화살통의 화살들을 흔들고 우상들에게 묻고 희생제물의 간의 모양을 살펴볼 것이다.
22 그의 오른손에 예루살렘으로 가는 점괘를 얻어 그가 성문에 성벽을 부수는 쇳덩이들을 설치하고 토성을 쌓고 포위 벽을 세우려고 한다.
23 그들에게 맹세한 사람들 눈에는 틀린 점괘 같아 보이겠지만 그 점괘는 예루살렘 사람들의 죄를 상기시킬 것이다. 예루살렘 사람들은 포로로 잡혀갈 것이다.
24 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. '너희가 너희의 죄를 상기시키고 너희의 범죄를 드러나게 하고 너희의 모든 행위에서 죄가 나타났기 때문에 그리고 너희가 기억됐기 때문에 너희가 적의 손에 붙잡힐 것이다.
25 너, 더럽고 악한 이스라엘의 지도자여, 네 날, 곧 네 죄가 끝날 때가 이르렀다.
26 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 머리에 두른 띠를 벗고 왕관을 벗어라. 이것은 이전과 같지 않을 것이다. 낮은 사람은 높아지고 높은 사람은 낮아질 것이다.
27 폐허로다! 폐허로다! 내가 그것을 폐허가 되게 할 것이다. 이것은 이전과 같지 않을 것이다. 그러다가 그 권리를 가진 사람이 나타나면 내가 그에게 그것을 줄 것이다.
28 그리고 너 사람아, 암몬 자손들과 그들이 받을 모욕에 대해 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다고 예언하며 말하여라. 칼이다! 칼이 뽑혔다! 학살하기 위해, 집어 삼키게 하기 위해 광이 내지고 번개처럼 번쩍인다!
29 점쟁이들이 너를 위해 허황된 환상을 보고 네게 거짓된 점을 쳐 주고 너를 학살당한 악인의 목 위에 두려고 하니 그들의 날, 죄악이 끝날 때가 이르렀다.
30 칼을 칼집에 도로 넣어라. 네가 창조된 곳에서 네가 태어난 땅에서 내가 너를 심판할 것이다.
31 내가 내 분노를 네게 쏟아붓고 내 진노의 불을 너를 향해 불며 너를 잔인한 사람들, 파괴에 능숙한 사람들의 손에 넘겨줄 것이다.
32 너는 불 속에서 땔감이 될 것이고 네 피가 그 땅 가운데 있을 것이며 네가 더 이상 기억되지 않을 것이다. 나 여호와가 말했기 때문이다.'"

[Ezekiel 21:1-32, NLT]
1 Then this message came to me from the LORD:
2 "Son of man, turn and face Jerusalem and prophesy against Israel and her sanctuaries.
3 Tell her, 'This is what the LORD says: I am your enemy, O Israel, and I am about to unsheath my sword to destroy your people—the righteous and the wicked alike.
4 Yes, I will cut off both the righteous and the wicked! I will draw my sword against everyone in the land from south to north.
5 Everyone in the world will know that I am the LORD. My sword is in my hand, and it will not return to its sheath until its work is finished.'
6 "Son of man, groan before the people! Groan before them with bitter anguish and a broken heart.
7 When they ask why you are groaning, tell them, 'I groan because of the terrifying news I have heard. When it comes true, the boldest heart will melt with fear; all strength will disappear. Every spirit will faint; strong knees will become as weak as water. And the Sovereign LORD says: It is coming! It's on its way!'"
8 Then the LORD said to me,
9 "Son of man, give the people this message from the Lord:"A sword, a sword is being sharpened and polished.
10 It is sharpened for terrible slaughter and polished to flash like lightning! Now will you laugh? Those far stronger than you have fallen beneath its power!
11 Yes, the sword is now being sharpened and polished; it is being prepared for the executioner.
12 "Son of man, cry out and wail; pound your thighs in anguish, for that sword will slaughter my people and their leaders— everyone will die!
13 It will put them all to the test. What chance do they have? says the Sovereign LORD.
14 "Son of man, prophesy to them and clap your hands. Then take the sword and brandish it twice, even three times, to symbolize the great massacre, the great massacre facing them on every side.
15 Let their hearts melt with terror, for the sword glitters at every gate. It flashes like lightning and is polished for slaughter!
16 O sword, slash to the right, then slash to the left, wherever you will, wherever you want.
17 I, too, will clap my hands, and I will satisfy my fury. I, the LORD, have spoken!"
18 Then this message came to me from the LORD:
19 "Son of man, make a map and trace two routes on it for the sword of Babylon's king to follow. Put a signpost on the road that comes out of Babylon where the road forks into two—
20 one road going to Ammon and its capital, Rabbah, and the other to Judah and fortified Jerusalem.
21 The king of Babylon now stands at the fork, uncertain whether to attack Jerusalem or Rabbah. He calls his magicians to look for omens. They cast lots by shaking arrows from the quiver. They inspect the livers of animal sacrifices.
22 The omen in his right hand says, 'Jerusalem!' With battering rams his soldiers will go against the gates, shouting for the kill. They will put up siege towers and build ramps against the walls.
23 The people of Jerusalem will think it is a false omen, because of their treaty with the Babylonians. But the king of Babylon will remind the people of their rebellion. Then he will attack and capture them.
24 "Therefore, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Again and again you remind me of your sin and your guilt. You don't even try to hide it! In everything you do, your sins are obvious for all to see. So now the time of your punishment has come!
25 "O you corrupt and wicked prince of Israel, your final day of reckoning is here!
26 This is what the Sovereign LORD says:"Take off your jeweled crown, for the old order changes. Now the lowly will be exalted, and the mighty will be brought down.
27 Destruction! Destruction! I will surely destroy the kingdom. And it will not be restored until the one appears who has the right to judge it. Then I will hand it over to him.
28 "And now, son of man, prophesy concerning the Ammonites and their mockery. Give them this message from the Sovereign LORD:"A sword, a sword is drawn for your slaughter. It is polished to destroy, flashing like lightning!
29 Your prophets have given false visions, and your fortune-tellers have told lies. The sword will fall on the necks of the wicked for whom the day of final reckoning has come.
30 "Now return the sword to its sheath, for in your own country, the land of your birth, I will pass judgment upon you.
31 I will pour out my fury on you and blow on you with the fire of my anger. I will hand you over to cruel men who are skilled in destruction.
32 You will be fuel for the fire, and your blood will be spilled in your own land. You will be utterly wiped out, your memory lost to history, for I, the LORD, have spoken!"





[겔22:1-31, 우리말성경]
1 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임해 말씀하셨다.
2 "너 사람아, 네가 심판하겠느냐? 네가 이 피투성이 성읍을 심판하겠느냐? 그러면 그 성읍의 혐오스러운 일 모두를 성읍에 상기시켜라.
3 그리고 말하여라. '주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 성내에서 사람을 살해해 피를 흘림으로 보응의 때가 이르게 하고 또 우상들을 만들어 자기 스스로를 더럽히는 성읍아,
4 네가 흘린 피로 인해 네게 죄가 있고 네가 만든 우상들로 스스로 더럽혀졌다. 네가 네 날들을 가까이 오게 해서 네가 살아갈 날이 다 됐다. 그러므로 내가 너를 민족들의 모욕의 대상으로 삼고 모든 나라들의 조롱거리가 되게 할 것이다.
5 혼란으로 가득 차고 이름이 더럽혀진 성읍아, 너로부터 가까이 있는 사람들이나 멀리 있는 사람들이 다 너를 조롱할 것이다.
6 이스라엘의 지도자들은 성읍 안에서 자신의 권력을 이용해 사람을 살해했다.
7 성읍 안에서 그들이 아버지와 어머니를 업신여겼고 그 가운데서 그들이 이방 사람을 억압했으며 그 안에서 그들이 고아와 과부를 학대했다.
8 너희가 내 거룩한 물건들을 무시했고 내 안식일을 더럽혔다.
9 비방하며 사람을 살해해 피 흘리는 사람들이 성읍 안에 있고 그 안에 산 위에서 먹는 사람들이 있으며 그 가운데 음란한 짓들을 행하는 사람들이 있다.
10 너희 안에 자기 아버지의 알몸을 드러내는 사람들이 있고 너희 안에 월경 중인 부정한 여자들을 범하는 사람들도 있다.
11 성읍 안에서 어떤 사람은 이웃의 아내와 혐오스러운 일을 행하고 어떤 사람은 사악하게도 자기 며느리를 더럽히고 있다. 또 어떤 사람은 자기 자매, 곧 자기 아버지의 딸을 범하고 있다.
12 너희 안에 뇌물을 받고 피 흘리는 사람들이 있다. 너는 고리대금과 엄청난 이자를 받고 네 이웃의 것을 강탈해 부당한 이득을 취했다. 그리고 너는 나를 잊어버렸다. 주 여호와의 말이다.
13 그러므로 보아라. 네가 취한 부당한 이득과 네 가운데서 네가 피 흘리게 한 일 때문에 내가 내 손바닥을 칠 것이다.
14 내가 너를 처벌할 그날들에 네 마음이 견딜 수 있고 네 손에 힘이 남아 있겠느냐? 나 여호와가 말했으니 내가 그렇게 할 것이다.
15 내가 너를 민족들 가운데 흩뜨리고 나라들 사이에 퍼지게 해 네 더러운 것을 네게서 완전히 없애 버릴 것이다.
16 네가 민족들의 눈앞에서 네 스스로를 더럽힐 것이니 그때 내가 여호와임을 네가 알게 될 것이다.'"
17 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임해 말씀하셨다.
18 "사람아, 이스라엘 족속이 내게 찌꺼기가 됐다. 그들 모두가 용광로 안에 남은 청동, 주석, 철, 납이다. 그들은 은의 찌꺼기일 뿐이다.
19 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. '너희 모두가 찌꺼기가 됐다. 그러므로 보라. 내가 너희를 모아다가 예루살렘 가운데로 가져갈 것이다.
20 사람들이 은, 청동, 철, 납, 주석을 용광로에 모아다가 불을 불어넣어 녹이는 것처럼 그렇게 내가 내 진노와 분노 가운데서 너희를 모아다가 그 성읍에 넣고 녹여 버릴 것이다.
21 내가 너희를 모아다가 내 진노의 불을 너희 위에 불 것이다. 그러면 너희가 그 안에서 녹아 버릴 것이다.
22 은이 용광로 안에서 녹듯이 너희도 그렇게 그 안에서 녹을 것이다. 그러면 나 여호와가 내 분노를 너희에게 쏟아부었음을 너희가 알게 될 것이다.'"
23 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임해 말씀하셨다.
24 "사람아, 저 땅에 말하여라. '너는 진노의 날에 깨끗함을 얻지 못한 땅이요, 비도 없는 땅이다.'
25 그 안에서 그의 예언자들이 꾸미는 음모가 먹이를 찢으며 으르렁거리는 사자와 같다. 그들이 사람들을 집어삼키고 보물과 값비싼 물건들을 빼앗고 그 안에서 과부들을 많이 만들어 냈다.
26 그의 제사장들은 내 율법을 어기고 내 거룩한 물건들을 더럽혔으며 거룩한 것과 거룩하지 않은 것을 구별하지 않았다. 부정한 것과 정결한 것의 차이를 알려 주지 않았으며 내 안식일 지키는 것에 대해 그들의 눈을 감아 버렸으니 내가 그들 가운데서 더러워지고 있다.
27 그 성읍의 지도자들은 먹이를 찢는 늑대들 같아서 그들은 피를 흘리고 사람을 죽이며 부당한 이득을 얻고 있다.
28 그의 예언자들은 허황된 계시를 보고 그들에게 거짓된 점을 쳐 준다. 여호와께서 말씀하시지도 않았는데 '주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다'라고 말하면서 그들 위에 회칠을 했다.
29 그 땅의 사람들은 착취를 하고 강도질을 했다. 가난한 사람들과 궁핍한 사람들을 억압하고 이방 사람들을 부당하게 학대했다.
30 이 땅을 위해 내 앞에서 성벽을 쌓고 성의 무너진 틈에 서서 나로 하여금 성읍을 멸망시키지 못하게 할 사람을 찾았지만 그들 가운데 한 사람도 찾을 수가 없었다.
31 그러므로 내가 분노를 그들 위에 쏟아붓고 내 진노의 불로 그들을 소멸해 그들의 행동을 그들의 머리 위에 갚은 것이다. 주 여호와의 말이다."

[Ezekiel 22:1-31, NLT]
1 Now this message came to me from the LORD:
2 "Son of man, are you ready to judge Jerusalem? Are you ready to judge this city of murderers? Publicly denounce her detestable sins,
3 and give her this message from the Sovereign LORD: O city of murderers, doomed and damned—city of idols, filthy and foul—
4 you are guilty because of the blood you have shed. You are defiled because of the idols you have made. Your day of destruction has come! You have reached the end of your years. I will make you an object of mockery throughout the world.
5 O infamous city, filled with confusion, you will be mocked by people far and near.
6 "Every leader in Israel who lives within your walls is bent on murder.
7 Fathers and mothers are treated with contempt. Foreigners are forced to pay for protection. Orphans and widows are wronged and oppressed among you.
8 You despise my holy things and violate my Sabbath days of rest.
9 People accuse others falsely and send them to their death. You are filled with idol worshipers and people who do obscene things.
10 Men sleep with their fathers' wives and force themselves on women who are menstruating.
11 Within your walls live men who commit adultery with their neighbors' wives, who defile their daughters-in-law, or who rape their own sisters.
12 There are hired murderers, loan racketeers, and extortioners everywhere. They never even think of me and my commands, says the Sovereign LORD.
13 "But now I clap my hands in indignation over your dishonest gain and bloodshed.
14 How strong and courageous will you be in my day of reckoning? I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will do what I said.
15 I will scatter you among the nations and purge you of your wickedness.
16 And when I have been dishonored among the nations because of you, you will know that I am the LORD."
17 Then this message came to me from the LORD:
18 "Son of man, the people of Israel are the worthless slag that remains after silver is smelted. They are the dross that is left over—a useless mixture of copper, tin, iron, and lead.
19 So tell them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because you are all worthless slag, I will bring you to my crucible in Jerusalem.
20 Just as silver, copper, iron, lead, and tin are melted down in a furnace, I will melt you down in the heat of my fury.
21 I will gather you together and blow the fire of my anger upon you,
22 and you will melt like silver in fierce heat. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have poured out my fury on you.'"
23 Again a message came to me from the LORD:
24 "Son of man, give the people of Israel this message: In the day of my indignation, you will be like a polluted land, a land without rain.
25 Your princes plot conspiracies just as lions stalk their prey. They devour innocent people, seizing treasures and extorting wealth. They make many widows in the land.
26 Your priests have violated my instructions and defiled my holy things. They make no distinction between what is holy and what is not. And they do not teach my people the difference between what is ceremonially clean and unclean. They disregard my Sabbath days so that I am dishonored among them.
27 Your leaders are like wolves who tear apart their victims. They actually destroy people's lives for money!
28 And your prophets cover up for them by announcing false visions and making lying predictions. They say, 'My message is from the Sovereign LORD,' when the LORD hasn't spoken a single word to them.
29 Even common people oppress the poor, rob the needy, and deprive foreigners of justice.
30 "I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn't have to destroy the land, but I found no one.
31 So now I will pour out my fury on them, consuming them with the fire of my anger. I will heap on their heads the full penalty for all their sins. I, the Sovereign LORD, have spoken!"






하나님께서 일찍이 <레위기>를 통해 경고하신 제사장 나라 징계 3단계가 지금 남유다에 이루어지고 있습니다. 하나님께서 징계하시는 이유는 그들의 죄악 때문입니다. 하나님께서는 <레위기>를 근거로 그들의 죄악을 조목 조목 드러내며 지적하십니다. 누구도 변명할 수 없는 하나님의 공의에 따른 심판입니다. 하나님께서는 에스겔 선지자를 통해 심판이 제사장 나라의 회복에 필요한 필수적인 과정임을 말씀하십니다.
남유다의 상태는 옷, 주석, 납, 쇠, 은의 찌꺼기같이 쓸모없이 버려지는 광물과 같습니다. 찌꺼기들을 풀무불 속에 넣고 녹이면 새롭게 되듯이 하나님께서는 바벨론이라는 풀무불 속에 남유다를 넣고 다시 제련하여 제사장 나라의 정체성을 회복시키길 원하십니다. 그런데 그들이 심판에 담긴 하나님의 사랑을 모르기 때문에 원망하고 불평하는 것입니다. 에스겔을 통해 열심히 그들을 설득하시는 하나님의 마음은 곧 우리를 향하신 하나님의 마음입니다.

이제 남유다는 그들의 죄에 대한 징계를 받으며 다시 정결하게 되는 풀무 불에 들어가야 합니다.

하나님의 거룩한 백성으로, 사랑받는 자녀로 삼아주신 은혜와 사랑에 감사합니다. 우리를 향한 변함없으신 하나님의 마음을 마음에 새기며 살아가기를 원합니다.
