[겔23:1-49, 우리말성경]
1 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임해 말씀하셨다.
2 "사람아, 두 여자가 있었는데 그들은 한 어머니의 딸들이다.
3 그들이 이집트에서 음란한 짓을 했고 어린 시절에 창녀가 됐다. 그곳에서 그들의 가슴이 짓눌렸고 그곳에서 그 처녀의 젖가슴이 만져졌다.
4 그들의 이름은 언니는 오홀라고 동생은 오홀리바다. 그들은 나와의 사이에서 아들들과 딸들을 낳았다. 그들의 이름을 말하자면 오홀라는 사마리아고 오홀리바는 예루살렘이다.
5 오홀라는 그녀가 아직 내게 속했을 때 음란한 짓을 했다. 그녀는 이웃인 앗시리아 사람을 갈망했다.
6 그들은 자주색 옷을 입은 통치자들과 지도자들로서 모두 잘생긴 젊은이들이었으며 말을 타는 기마병들이었다.
7 그녀는 앗시리아 사람들 가운데 모든 잘생긴 사람들과 음란한 짓을 했고 또 자기가 갈망하던 모든 사람들의 우상들로 자신을 더럽혔다.
8 그녀는 이집트에서부터의 음란한 짓을 버리지 않았다. 그녀의 어린 시절 그들이 그녀와 함께 드러눕고 그녀의 처녀 젖가슴을 만졌다. 그리고 그녀 위에 그들의 정욕을 쏟아부었다.
9 그러므로 내가 그녀를 그녀의 애인들의 손에, 그녀가 갈망하는 앗시리아 사람들 손에 넘겨주었다.
10 그들은 그녀를 벌거벗겼고 그녀의 아들들과 딸들을 데리고 갔으며 그녀를 칼로 죽였다. 그녀는 여자들 사이에서 웃음거리가 됐다. 그들이 그녀를 심판한 것이다.
11 그녀의 동생 오홀리바는 이것을 보았다. 그러나 그녀는 언니보다 더 타락했으며 그녀의 음란한 짓은 자기 언니의 음란한 짓보다 더했다.
12 그녀는 이웃인 앗시리아 사람들을 갈망했는데 그들은 통치자들과 지도자들로서 화려한 옷을 입은 용사들이었고 말을 타는 기마병들이었고 모두 잘생긴 젊은이들이었다.
13 내가 그녀 또한 자신을 더럽힌 것을 보았다. 그들 둘 다 똑같은 길을 간 것이다.
14 그러나 그녀는 음란한 짓을 더해 갔다. 그녀는 벽에 새겨진 남자들의 모습, 곧 붉은색으로 새겨진 바벨론 사람들의 모습을 보았다.
15 허리에는 띠를 두르고 머리에는 길게 늘어뜨린 띠를 한 모습이 모두 갈대아 태생인 바벨론 장교들처럼 보였다.
16 그녀는 그들을 보자마자 그들에게 정욕을 품어 갈대아에 사람을 보냈다.
17 그러자 바벨론 사람들은 그녀에게로 와서 애정 행위를 하는 침대로 들어가 그들의 음란함으로 그녀를 더럽혔다. 그녀는 그들로 인해 더러워진 뒤 그들과 사이가 멀어졌다.
18 그녀는 음란한 짓을 드러내 놓고 하며 알몸을 드러내 보였다. 그래서 내가 그녀의 언니와 사이가 멀어지게 된 것처럼 그녀와도 사이가 멀어지게 됐다.
19 그럼에도 그녀는 이집트 땅에서 음란한 짓을 하던 어린 시절을 회상하면서 음란한 짓을 더했다.
20 몸은 나귀와 같고 정력은 말과 같은 애인들을 그녀는 갈망했다.
21 이집트 사람들이 네 어린 젖가슴을 어루만졌던 어린 시절의 음란함을 네가 그리워했다.
22 그러므로 오홀리바여, 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 너와 사이가 멀어진 네 애인들을 내가 선동해 너를 대적하게 할 것이다. 사방에서 그들을 네게 보낼 것이다.
23 바벨론 사람들, 모든 갈대아 사람들, 브곳과 소아와 고아 사람들 그리고 그들과 더불어 모든 앗시리아 사람들 말이다. 그들은 모두 잘생긴 젊은이들이며 모두가 통치자들, 지도자들, 장교들, 유명한 사람들이며 모두가 말을 타는 사람들이다.
24 그들이 무기와 전차와 수레와 한 무리의 사람들을 거느리고 너를 대적해 올 것이다. 그들은 크고 작은 방패를 갖고 투구를 쓰고 너를 대적해 사방에 포진할 것이다. 내가 그들에게 심판권을 넘겨줄 것이니 그들이 자기의 방식에 따라 너를 심판할 것이다.
25 내가 너를 향해 질투를 낼 것이니 그들이 격분해 너를 대하며 네 코와 귀를 자를 것이다. 그리고 네 남은 사람들은 칼에 쓰러질 것이다. 그들은 네 아들들과 딸들을 끌고 갈 것이고 네 남은 사람들은 불에 삼켜질 것이다.
26 그들은 네 옷을 벗기고 네 아름다운 장신구를 빼앗을 것이다.
27 그래서 이집트 땅에서부터 했던 네 음란함과 창녀 짓을 내가 멈추게 할 것이다. 그리하여 네가 그들에게 눈을 들지도 않으며 이집트를 더 이상 기억하지도 않을 것이다.
28 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 네가 싫어하는 사람들, 너와 사이가 멀어진 사람들의 손에 내가 너를 넘겨줄 것이다.
29 그들이 미워함으로 너를 대하고 네가 일해서 얻은 모든 것을 빼앗아 갈 것이다. 그들이 너를 벌거벗기고 알몸으로 버릴 것이다. 네가 알몸으로 창녀 짓 한 것, 곧 네 음란함과 창녀 짓이 드러나게 될 것이다.
30 이것들이 네게 행해지게 될 것은 네가 민족들을 뒤따라서 음란한 짓을 하고 그들의 우상들로 더러워졌기 때문이다.
31 네가 네 언니의 길을 뒤따라갔으니 내가 네 손에 그녀의 잔을 줄 것이다.
32 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. '크고 깊은 네 언니의 잔을 네가 들이키고 많이 담을 수 있는 그 큰 잔이 조롱과 비웃음의 대상이 될 것이다.
33 공포와 황폐함이 담긴 잔아, 네 자매 사마리아의 잔아, 네가 술 취함과 슬픔으로 가득할 것이다.
34 네가 그것을 마셔서 비우고 그것을 산산조각 나게 깨뜨리며 네 가슴을 찢을 것이다. 내가 말했기 때문이다. 주 여호와의 말이다.
35 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 네가 나를 잊었고 나를 네 등 뒤로 밀어붙였기 때문에 네 음란함과 창녀 짓에 대해 네가 감당해야 할 것이다."
36 여호와께서 내게 말씀하셨다. "사람아, 네가 오홀라와 오홀리바를 심판하겠느냐? 그렇다면 그들에게 그들의 혐오스러운 일들을 언급하여라.
37 그들이 간음했고 그들의 손에 피가 있기 때문이다. 그들이 우상들과 간음했다. 심지어 그들이 내게 낳아 준 그들의 자식들을 제물로 바쳐 불 속을 지나가게 했다.
38 그들은 또 내게 이런 일도 했다. 같은 날 그들이 내 성소를 더럽히고 내 안식일을 모독했다.
39 그들이 자식들을 우상들에게 희생제물로 바치고 나서 바로 그날 내 성소에 들어와 그곳을 더럽힌 것이다. 그들이 이런 짓을 내 집 가운데서 했다.
40 또한 두 자매는 사자를 보내 먼 곳으로부터 오는 사람들을 불렀다. 그들이 왔다. 너는 그들을 위해 목욕하고 네 눈에 화장을 하고 장신구로 치장했다.
41 그리고 너는 우아하고 긴 의자에 앉아서 그 앞에 상을 차리고 그 위에 내 분향과 기름을 놓아두었다.
42 떠들썩한 군중의 소리가 그곳에서 들렸고 술 취한 몇몇 사람들을 광야로부터 데려와서 그들이 두 자매의 팔에 팔찌를 끼우고 두 자매의 머리에 아름다운 왕관을 씌웠다.
43 그때 간음으로 찌든 두 여자에 대해 내가 생각했다. '이제 그들이 저 여자와 음란한 짓을 할까? 그리고 저 여자와도?'
44 그들이 그 여자에게로 들어갔다. 사람들이 창녀에게 들어가듯이 그들이 음란한 여자들인 오홀라와 오홀리바에게 그렇게 들어갔다.
45 그러나 간음한 여자들을 심판하며 피를 흘린 여자들을 심판하듯이 의인들이 저들을 심판할 것이다. 저들이 음란한 여자들이고 저들의 손에 피가 묻어 있기 때문이다.
46 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 저 두 자매를 대적해 한 무리를 일으켜 세워라. 저들을 공포와 약탈에 넘겨주어라.
47 그 무리가 저들에게 돌을 던지고 자기의 칼로 저들을 벨 것이다. 그들이 두 자매의 아들들과 딸들을 죽이고 저들의 집을 불태울 것이다.
48 이렇듯 내가 그 땅으로부터 음란함을 멈추게 해서 모든 여자들이 교훈을 얻고 그들이 너희의 음란함과 같은 일을 하지 않을 것이다.
49 그들이 너희의 음란함을 너희에게 갚아 줄 것이다. 너희는 너희의 우상들에 대한 죄를 감당하게 될 것이다. 그러면 내가 주 여호와임을 너희가 알게 될 것이다."

[Ezekiel 23:1-49, NLT]
1 This message came to me from the LORD:
2 "Son of man, once there were two sisters who were daughters of the same mother.
3 They became prostitutes in Egypt. Even as young girls, they allowed men to fondle their breasts.
4 The older girl was named Oholah, and her sister was Oholibah. I married them, and they bore me sons and daughters. I am speaking of Samaria and Jerusalem, for Oholah is Samaria and Oholibah is Jerusalem.
5 "Then Oholah lusted after other lovers instead of me, and she gave her love to the Assyrian officers.
6 They were all attractive young men, captains and commanders dressed in handsome blue, charioteers driving their horses.
7 And so she prostituted herself with the most desirable men of Assyria, worshiping their idols and defiling herself.
8 For when she left Egypt, she did not leave her spirit of prostitution behind. She was still as lewd as in her youth, when the Egyptians slept with her, fondled her breasts, and used her as a prostitute.
9 "And so I handed her over to her Assyrian lovers, whom she desired so much.
10 They stripped her, took away her children as their slaves, and then killed her. After she received her punishment, her reputation was known to every woman in the land.
11 "Yet even though Oholibah saw what had happened to Oholah, her sister, she followed right in her footsteps. And she was even more depraved, abandoning herself to her lust and prostitution.
12 She fawned over all the Assyrian officers—those captains and commanders in handsome uniforms, those charioteers driving their horses—all of them attractive young men.
13 I saw the way she was going, defiling herself just like her older sister.
14 "Then she carried her prostitution even further. She fell in love with pictures that were painted on a wall—pictures of Babylonian military officers, outfitted in striking red uniforms.
15 Handsome belts encircled their waists, and flowing turbans crowned their heads. They were dressed like chariot officers from the land of Babylonia.
16 When she saw these paintings, she longed to give herself to them, so she sent messengers to Babylonia to invite them to come to her.
17 So they came and committed adultery with her, defiling her in the bed of love. After being defiled, however, she rejected them in disgust.
18 "In the same way, I became disgusted with Oholibah and rejected her, just as I had rejected her sister, because she flaunted herself before them and gave herself to satisfy their lusts.
19 Yet she turned to even greater prostitution, remembering her youth when she was a prostitute in Egypt.
20 She lusted after lovers with genitals as large as a donkey's and emissions like those of a horse.
21 And so, Oholibah, you relived your former days as a young girl in Egypt, when you first allowed your breasts to be fondled.
22 "Therefore, Oholibah, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will send your lovers against you from every direction—those very nations from which you turned away in disgust.
23 For the Babylonians will come with all the Chaldeans from Pekod and Shoa and Koa. And all the Assyrians will come with them—handsome young captains, commanders, chariot officers, and other high-ranking officers, all riding their horses.
24 They will all come against you from the north with chariots, wagons, and a great army prepared for attack. They will take up positions on every side, surrounding you with men armed with shields and helmets. And I will hand you over to them for punishment so they can do with you as they please.
25 I will turn my jealous anger against you, and they will deal harshly with you. They will cut off your nose and ears, and any survivors will then be slaughtered by the sword. Your children will be taken away as captives, and everything that is left will be burned.
26 They will strip you of your beautiful clothes and jewels.
27 In this way, I will put a stop to the lewdness and prostitution you brought from Egypt. You will never again cast longing eyes on those things or fondly remember your time in Egypt.
28 "For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will surely hand you over to your enemies, to those you loathe, those you rejected.
29 They will treat you with hatred and rob you of all you own, leaving you stark naked. The shame of your prostitution will be exposed to all the world.
30 You brought all this on yourself by prostituting yourself to other nations, defiling yourself with all their idols.
31 Because you have followed in your sister's footsteps, I will force you to drink the same cup of terror she drank.
32 "Yes, this is what the Sovereign LORD says:"You will drink from your sister's cup of terror, a cup that is large and deep. It is filled to the brim with scorn and derision.
33 Drunkenness and anguish will fill you, for your cup is filled to the brim with distress and desolation, the same cup your sister Samaria drank.
34 You will drain that cup of terror to the very bottom. Then you will smash it to pieces and beat your breast in anguish. I, the Sovereign LORD, have spoken!
35 "And because you have forgotten me and turned your back on me, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: You must bear the consequences of all your lewdness and prostitution."
36 The LORD said to me, "Son of man, you must accuse Oholah and Oholibah of all their detestable sins.
37 They have committed both adultery and murder—adultery by worshiping idols and murder by burning as sacrifices the children they bore to me.
38 Furthermore, they have defiled my Temple and violated my Sabbath day!
39 On the very day that they sacrificed their children to their idols, they boldly came into my Temple to worship! They came in and defiled my house.
40 "You sisters sent messengers to distant lands to get men. Then when they arrived, you bathed yourselves, painted your eyelids, and put on your finest jewels for them.
41 You sat with them on a beautifully embroidered couch and put my incense and my special oil on a table that was spread before you.
42 From your room came the sound of many men carousing. They were lustful men and drunkards from the wilderness, who put bracelets on your wrists and beautiful crowns on your heads.
43 Then I said, 'If they really want to have sex with old worn-out prostitutes like these, let them!'
44 And that is what they did. They had sex with Oholah and Oholibah, these shameless prostitutes.
45 But righteous people will judge these sister cities for what they really are—adulterers and murderers.
46 "Now this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Bring an army against them and hand them over to be terrorized and plundered.
47 For their enemies will stone them and kill them with swords. They will butcher their sons and daughters and burn their homes.
48 In this way, I will put an end to lewdness and idolatry in the land, and my judgment will be a warning to all women not to follow your wicked example.
49 You will be fully repaid for all your prostitution—your worship of idols. Yes, you will suffer the full penalty. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD."




[겔24:1-27, 우리말성경]
1 아홉째 해 열째 달 10일에 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임해 말씀하셨다.
2 "사람아, 이 날짜, 바로 이 날짜를 기록하여라. 바벨론 왕이 바로 이날에 예루살렘을 포위했다.
3 이 반역하는 족속에게 비유를 들어 말해 주어라. 너는 그들에게 말하여라. '주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 솥을 얹어라. 솥을 얹고 그 속에 물을 부어라.
4 고기를 썰어 솥에 넣되 다리 살, 어깨 살 등 좋은 고기를 골라 넣고 가장 좋은 뼈로 솥을 채워라.
5 양 떼 가운데 가장 좋은 것을 잡아라. 솥 밑에다 나무를 쌓고 그것을 끓여라. 그 가운데에 뼈들을 넣고 푹 삶아라.'
6 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. '피 흘린 성아! 화 있을 것이다. 안이 녹슨 솥의 녹은 없어지지 않을 것이다! 제비 뽑을 것 없이 한 조각씩 한 조각씩 그 고깃덩이를 꺼내어라.
7 죽임당한 사람이 흘린 피가 성읍 가운데 있다. 그 피가 바위 위에 흘렀다. 땅바닥에 흘렀는데 그 위에 흙이 덮이게도 하지 않았다.
8 진노를 일으켜 복수하려고 내가 그녀의 피를 바위 위에 흐르게 해 덮이지 않게 한 것이다.'
9 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. '화 있을 것이다. 피 흘린 성아! 나 또한 나뭇더미를 크게 만들 것이다.
10 나무를 쌓아 올리고 불을 붙이라. 고기를 잘 삶고 양념을 섞어 넣고 뼈들을 태우라.
11 그리고 석탄불 위에 빈 솥을 얹어 뜨겁게 하고 그 청동을 달구라. 그리하여 그것의 더러움이 그 속에서 녹고 그것의 녹이 타 없어질 것이다.
12 이 성읍이 온갖 일로 곤비하나 엄청난 녹이 가마솥에서 없어지지 않았고 불 속에서도 없어지지 않았다.
13 네 더러움 가운데 음란함이 있다. 내가 너를 깨끗하게 해 주었지만 네가 네 더러움으로부터 깨끗해지지 않았기 때문에 내가 너를 향한 내 진노를 그만둘 때까지 네가 더 이상 깨끗하지 않을 것이다.
14 나 여호와가 말했다. 때가 오고 있으니 내가 실행할 것이다. 내가 참지 않을 것이고 불쌍히 여기지도 않을 것이며 가엾게 여기지도 않을 것이다. 네 행동과 네 행위에 따라 그들이 너를 심판할 것이다. 주 여호와의 말이다.'"
15 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임해 말씀하셨다.
16 "사람아, 내가 네 눈의 기쁨을 일순간에 빼앗을 것이다. 그러나 너는 슬퍼하거나 울거나 눈물을 흘리지도 마라.
17 조용히 탄식하여라. 죽은 사람들을 위해 애곡하지 마라. 네 머리띠를 머리에 두르고 네 발에 신을 신어라. 네 수염을 가리지 말고 애곡하는 사람이 먹는 음식을 먹지 마라."
18 그래서 내가 아침에 백성들에게 말했는데 저녁에 내 아내가 죽었다. 다음 날 아침 내가 명령을 받은 대로 했다.
19 그러자 백성들이 내게 물었다. "당신이 이렇게 행동하는 것이 우리에게 무슨 의미가 있는지 우리에게 말해 주지 않겠습니까?"
20 그래서 내가 그들에게 말했다. "여호와의 말씀이 내게 임해 말씀하셨다.
21 '이스라엘의 집에 말하여라. 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 너희 권세의 자랑거리고 너희 눈으로 보기에 즐거움이며 너희 마음의 애정의 대상인 내 성소를 내가 더럽힐 것이다. 또 너희가 내버린 네 아들들과 딸들이 칼에 쓰러질 것이다.
22 그리고 너희는 내가 한 그대로 하라. 너희는 수염을 가리지 말고 애곡하는 사람들이 먹는 음식을 먹지 말라.
23 또 너희의 머리에 머리띠를 두르고 너희의 발에 신을 신으라. 너희는 슬퍼하거나 울지 않고 다만 너희 죄들로 인해서 기력이 쇠약해지며 서로 바라보고 탄식할 것이다.
24 에스겔이 너희에게 표적이 될 것이니 너희는 그가 행한 모든 것을 그대로 하라. 이런 일이 일어나면 내가 주 여호와임을 너희가 알게 될 것이다.'
25 그리고 너 사람아, 그들의 요새, 그들의 기쁨과 영광, 그 눈의 즐거움, 그들의 마음의 욕구, 그리고 그들의 아들들과 딸들을 내가 그들에게서 빼앗을 날,
26 바로 그날에 한 도망자가 네게 와서 네 귀에 소식을 들려줄 것이다.
27 바로 그날에 네 입이 열릴 것이고 그 도망자에게 네가 말하고 더 이상 침묵하지 않을 것이다. 이처럼 너는 그들에게 표적이 될 것이고 내가 여호와임을 그들이 알게 될 것이다."

[Ezekiel 24:1-27, NLT]
1 On January 15, during the ninth year of King Jehoiachin's captivity, this message came to me from the LORD:
2 "Son of man, write down today's date, because on this very day the king of Babylon is beginning his attack against Jerusalem.
3 Then give these rebels an illustration with this message from the Sovereign LORD:"Put a pot on the fire, and pour in some water.
4 Fill it with choice pieces of meat— the rump and the shoulder and all the most tender cuts.
5 Use only the best sheep from the flock, and heap fuel on the fire beneath the pot. Bring the pot to a boil, and cook the bones along with the meat.
6 "Now this is what the Sovereign LORD says: What sorrow awaits Jerusalem, the city of murderers! She is a cooking pot whose corruption can't be cleaned out. Take the meat out in random order, for no piece is better than another.
7 For the blood of her murders is splashed on the rocks. It isn't even spilled on the ground, where the dust could cover it!
8 So I will splash her blood on a rock for all to see, an expression of my anger and vengeance against her.
9 "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: What sorrow awaits Jerusalem, the city of murderers! I myself will pile up the fuel beneath her.
10 Yes, heap on the wood! Let the fire roar to make the pot boil. Cook the meat with many spices, and afterward burn the bones.
11 Now set the empty pot on the coals. Heat it red hot! Burn away the filth and corruption.
12 But it's hopeless; the corruption can't be cleaned out. So throw it into the fire.
13 Your impurity is your lewdness and the corruption of your idolatry. I tried to cleanse you, but you refused. So now you will remain in your filth until my fury against you has been satisfied.
14 "I, the LORD, have spoken! The time has come, and I won't hold back. I will not change my mind, and I will have no pity on you. You will be judged on the basis of all your wicked actions, says the Sovereign LORD."
15 Then this message came to me from the LORD:
16 "Son of man, with one blow I will take away your dearest treasure. Yet you must not show any sorrow at her death. Do not weep; let there be no tears.
17 Groan silently, but let there be no wailing at her grave. Do not uncover your head or take off your sandals. Do not perform the usual rituals of mourning or accept any food brought to you by consoling friends."
18 So I proclaimed this to the people the next morning, and in the evening my wife died. The next morning I did everything I had been told to do.
19 Then the people asked, "What does all this mean? What are you trying to tell us?"
20 So I said to them, "A message came to me from the LORD,
21 and I was told to give this message to the people of Israel. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will defile my Temple, the source of your security and pride, the place your heart delights in. Your sons and daughters whom you left behind in Judah will be slaughtered by the sword.
22 Then you will do as Ezekiel has done. You will not mourn in public or console yourselves by eating the food brought by friends.
23 Your heads will remain covered, and your sandals will not be taken off. You will not mourn or weep, but you will waste away because of your sins. You will groan among yourselves for all the evil you have done.
24 Ezekiel is an example for you; you will do just as he has done. And when that time comes, you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD."
25 Then the LORD said to me, "Son of man, on the day I take away their stronghold—their joy and glory, their heart's desire, their dearest treasure—I will also take away their sons and daughters.
26 And on that day a survivor from Jerusalem will come to you in Babylon and tell you what has happened.
27 And when he arrives, your voice will suddenly return so you can talk to him, and you will be a symbol for these people. Then they will know that I am the LORD."







북이스라엘과 남유다는 하나님을 떠나 이방 우상을 섬기는 악한 죄를 행했습니다. 북이스라엘의 멸망을 보고도 돌이키지 않고 계속 우상숭배한 남유다는 결코 하나님의 진노와 심판을 피할 수 없습니다. 하나님께서는 바벨론의 예루살렘 3차 공격이 시작되었음을 알려주시면서 에스겔의 설득에 계속 저항하는 남유다 포로민들에게 강력한 심판의 상징으로 녹슨 가마 퍼포먼스를 하게 하십니다.
예루살렘을 의미하는 녹슨 가마 안의 양고기는 남유다 백성들을, 가마의 녹은 남유다 백성들이 저지를 죄를 의미합니다. 하나님께서 하나님의 도구인 바벨론을 불로 사용하셔서 예루살렘이라는 가마를 끓임으로 그 죄악을 녹이고자 하시는 것입니다. 안의 내용물이 다 녹아 없어져 빈 가마가 되어도 녹이 소멸해 없어질 때까지 계속해서 불을 더 지피라고 하시는 것은 그들을 다시 거룩한 제사장 나라의 시민으로 회복시키길 원하시는 하나님의 강력하신 뜻을 나타내시기 위함입니다.

하나님께서는 바벨론 제국이 예루살렘성을 3차로 침략하자 에스겔 선지자에게 ‘녹슨 가마 상징’을 행하게 하십니다.

우리의 죄악을 용납하지 않으시고 사랑의 징계를 통하여 거룩한 백성으로 회복시키시는 하나님의 크신 사랑에 감사합니다. 하나님께 순종하는 믿음의 사람이 되기를 원합니다.
